Funny story .... his friends set his hand up in the spades game when he dozed off just to see what would happen 😂 This guy is awesome. He's a 3-time cancer survivor who has a foundation that helps underprivileged children. He's also 6 foot 8, 300 lbs! All his videos are great... The follow-up is Mama Ts fish fry..also hilarious. What he says about buying Jordans.. I was dead.

I've seen several of his videos where he is in the same persona, and he's funny, but each one is specifically about a certain cause, and tells you some interesting stories about his involvement with those causes. He's a great guy.

I'm a 73 year old white man. I dated a beautiful black woman for 9 years. She passed last year. I was shattered. He was serious about the barbecue. It doesn't get better. We went to her church together for most of our time together. I still go to that church. The folks at that church are the best Christians I've ever met. I've already been invited to all the family cook outs in the Summer. They keep trying to set me up with a new gal. I'm the luckiest white guy I know.

Regarding the "Meat Sweats" - it actually a very accurate term. Animal protein (meat) has a thermogenic effect (a heating effect) It takes us humans about 20% of the calories in meat to digest it. So if you eat a lot of meat you need to digest a lot of meat and you actually get hot. I have felt this myself. And you will get this even if the meat is not spicy. If you add hot sauce or chili peppers then you will get muy caliente!

And it also depends on the amount of meat. I eat meat everyday basically and I don't usually sweat. When I overeat - sometimes do sweat. So yeah it depend on many factors. @@cmlemmus494

​@@cmlemmus494 I have a really fast metabolism and even I have had the meat sweats a time or 2... Last time was at Texas de Brazil... If you've never been, you should try it, but be prepared for the meat sweats 🤣 completely worth it though.

Back in 2003, in my first ever job, I was hired by this construction company as a surveyor and designer. The group was own by an Angolan-Portuguese family and they kindly invited me to their cookout. Very similar outcome, I fell in love with food and culture and had a lot of fun. First times were quite stressful. I'm a small pasty white swiss dude, at 5'5" 165lbs while these people were massive. But very cool people and very good spicy "damn that's hot" food.

I love how the theme of that story was I'm not pissin' nobody off lol he's a good storyteller too

I used to play guitar in a cover band with a guy from work. The other guitar player was the only other white guy in the band. So one show we played was for the bass player's birthday, and they had a big BBQ planned with what seemed like his whole family in attendance. It was great. The food kept on coming. We had a good time.
