I know u keep saying u are having trouble with keeping up with the lyrics and watching the video. Some reactors watch it twice, the first round either focus on the lyrics or the visual and the second round the opposite way. It might help so u don't have to pull betweent the two. I have to do the same thing. I usually do visual then lyrical. I love your reactions though can definitely tell that you are enjoying them and are willing to learn more about them. Absolutely amazing videos can't wait for the next one 😁

061920. I've enjoyed re-discovering BTS with you. I finally dropped into the "rabbit hole" this year, when my daughter shared the BLACK SWAN Lt, Lt Show video. Here are some things I've found interesting: For things like UGH and DDAENG, and others, I highly recommend also watching the "explanation" videos by DKDKTV -- to understand the wordplay -- and Bookish Theories. Danny from DKDKTV really missed the boat on DAECHWITA, though, so BT's is better for that. So many of their lyrics, visuals, props, etc, have so many layers of meaning and connections, that becoming familiar with the explanation videos, and some of the comments after those really helps to understand why so many people find them so fascinating. BTS includes lots of references to literature, psychology (Carl Jung's Map Of The Soul), fine art, science, film, etc. Then, there is the many-theoried, BANGTAN UNIVERSE/ BU fictional storyline/"abyss", which shows up more or less in almost all their works from pretty near day one to now. HAH! One commenter said she needed a PhD to fathom the BU, and another replied, "I have one, and it doesn't help". Even a song like BOY WITH LUV, which seems like a fluff piece, has so much involved in the production, like referring to the classic film, Singin' In The Rain. It also is an example of how their songs are almost never about a typical, romantic relationship, but in this case, is a desire to share their success and celebrate with ARMY ("I'm flying high up in the sky With the two wings that you gave me back then."), represented by Halsey. When they struggled so much with BH financial shortages, and local South Korean and Big 3 opposition, Big Hit and ARMY went to the internet, and got them worldwide attention, which they never forget. Other songs, like FAKE LOVE, which seems like a love relationship song, has deeper application layers to their relationship/image with the public; with significant others in their lives, like JH's and SG's BU mothers; and most significantly, with parts of themselves (shadow, persona). FL mv is hard to assess, without knowing a little of the BU character stories, and some of their other works, like BLOOD, SWEAT AND TEARS, which also contained the "see, hear, speak no evil" motions that are depicted in the FL mv wall sculpture. Even tunnel V's shirt looked like just a pattern, until I magnified a pause shot, and saw the stain on his hand, and realized the pattern recalled blood from one of the BU timelines. Leader RM is technically a genius, with SG also pretty knowledgeable, and they all are very personally involved with concept planning and to various degrees, the rest of the production processes. RM's name is on most of the lyric credits, followed by Suga, J-Hope, and the others, occasionally. genius.com/Genius-english-translations-bts-fake-love-english-translation-lyrics is a good site for lyrics, original and English. They are a whole entertainment package. Besides songs, lyrics, visuals and choreography to examine, they are very connected to fans with all manner of creative endeavors, such as travel shows; V-live candid, video-visits; documentaries; cartoon BT21; and the so-humorous, RUN BTS episodes (104, so far - Check out the listing in, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Run_BTS ) . I love the RUN BTS activity/contest episodes for a totally different side of these gorgeous, swaggy worldwide legends that you get to see, but it helps to know them a bit and their works, to appreciate the ridiculous humor and interactions, which can also be heartwarming on occasion. Some of my favorites, so far, are the cooking contest episodes, and the dog training one is cute, too, .... When you are ready for the deeper layers of the BU, I highly recommend the explanation videos provided by sites like DKDKTV (especially David, bc Danny is not BTS' top fan & his language can be vulgar. When David was mentioning the Biblical inferences he saw in ON, MV, Danny shut him down, though many commenters were interested in them). Other good BU explanation sites are Bookish Theories, Xceleste, Suga And Spice, and for a unique theory of Jin's death, Justt Ally has some good videos. I've gotten a lot of good info and alternative theories from the fan comments on those sites, also. Jin's BU story is the essence of the beautiful EPIPHANY mv visuals, including the red diary, the 6 calla lilies, the window, his desire. E has at least 2 levels, the "girl", and the guys (and probably himself). "Shining me, ... Not so perfect but so beautiful". Notice the 6 "BTS Bombs" light fixture. Knowing the BU SMERALDO flower story is pretty basic for understanding part of Jin's storyline; the hauntingly beautiful song, THE TRUTH UNTOLD; and catching the symbolism of when it shows up in various videos, like FAKE LOVE -- where Jin tries to protect/hide it, whereas JK releases the petals; and in SINGULARITY -- where unique personality V holds one up to the masks/persona he feels he has to wear to be accepted.
