More BTS please. Be sure to put the Closed Captions with English subtitles on. All but their very early MV's have them. Then you'll understand what they are saying, which is really important in a lot of their songs. Request you do Born Singer - as part of their Proof Live (3 songs - Born Singer, Yet to Come and For Youth).

Almost all modern KPop will contain several English lyrics. Hell, three quarters of Blackpink grew up in English speaking nations. One of them had to learn Korean to join the KPop scene.

BTS as a full group only have 3 fully English songs (Dynamite, Butter, and Permission To Dance). All their other songs are a mix of Korean and English. They also have songs in Japanese too.

There musical range is actually crazy ! They have around 300 songs and differents genres so you can always find one that you'll like ! Actually I was always discrediting them in the past (I even was a hater) but I'm a big fan now ! When you go deep into them you discover that they are amazing artists and I'm so proud and happy to be their fan 💜

you can click the CC button to understand what theyre saying. bts isnt kpop or isnt what you think kpop is. kpop isnt a genre its a music industry that does many genres. bts do all genres they write and produce their own music especially the 3 rappers write all their own raps. theres also 4 singers who also write a lot of the music. all 7 members have solo careers on top of being in the group. theyre very different from western boybands who usually break up to go solo. bts music is deep as its based on their lives, experiences, society, feelings etc they especially write about mental health, society issues, their come up story etc and so much more. they been a group since 2013 so its almost their 10 year anniversary. the best basic advice i can give is dont have assumptions, dont try to tell them a part from hair colors and dont assume just cause the song is upbeat that the meaning is happy or not deep. their most political deep social commentary songs have a upbeat tone to them. some songs need explanation videos as its sometimes difficult to understand as non korean speakers. so i suggest reacting to videos from dkdktv for some bts songs. they do have /some/ songs based on romantic relationships but majority are a lot deeper than that. many songs are dedicated to their fans, to each other, to friends/families etc their relationship type songs arent only about romantic relationships there a few though. you will learn more as you go if you decide to dive deeper i suggest reacting to these videos the bangtan 7 by taylor, bts hardships 2013 - 2021 by xceleste, this is bts introduction to bts by xceleste, how army changed fandom culture by boracity magazine, the mistreatment of bts by affecated, bts : more than kpop by bbygangmag before reacting to bts : more than kpop by bbygangmag you should react to these bts songs to get a better understanding : bts - am i wrong bts - spring day what you still dont know about bts spring day by italian army bts - no more dream bts - silver spoon/baepsae and baepsae explained by dkdktv

Technically bts is a kpop group, remember army that they had debuted as a "kpop group". Since each of their song are diverse, it doesn't mean that they don't classify because they dont primarily sing "pop songs". Bts is a kpop group, because they still attend the MMA and MAMA awards which is for kpop artists, they are still in the kpop industry and were registered as one. For instance, its like if someone born in America went to Jamaica for a few years and eventually picked up the Jamaican dialect, it doesn't mean that they are Jamaican, but because they were born somewhere else, *mindblown*🤯, lol. But yea i hope yall get what I'm trying to say 😅.

I usually skip reactors who don't turn on subtitles, but you were a joy to watch even without the lyrics. You seemed to really get and enjoy the music. Honestly, I saw that yet to come was in there and definitely thought 'oh man, we might lose him with that one' since the mv has so many call backs to previous works and is meant more as a comfort song to their fans. So I'm surprised it was your favorite song! Just goes to show how bad I am at trying to get people interested in BTS since I would pick completely the wrong songs to hook them! 😂😂😂 good job on your brother for picking these songs that they knew you'd like!

I just found BTS and I’m so impressed. Different genres of music, they change their style consistently, and they are incredibly talented. Rappers, singers, dancers…they have it all. I hope you continue with them. Dynamite is an all English song that was the first one I heard. But they have TONS of great songs. They were more hip hop at the beginnings (like a decade ago when they were kids) and Fire is one of my favorites from that time

It was so fun seeing you get into the music without even knowing the lyrics. Once you turn on the closed captioning and see that their lyrics are also amazing, i know you'll be even more impressed! If no one has explained yet, Yet to Come is an extra special song and MV because it was their last release as a group before going on hiatus till 2025. Korea requires mandatory military service of 18 months for all men, so for the next few years they'll all serve as well as explore solo projects before coming back together. They're calling everything from debut in 2013 to this song in 2022 "Chapter 1" and now they're solo phase is "Chaper 2." The YTC MV is full of visual throwbacks to other MVs through the years, so it's very sentimental, and the lyrics are relevant to this time of change for them. Oh and their very first MV, No More Dream, starts with the black parallel bars opening the screen, so its poignant that this MV ends with the screen closing to black. But dont worry, they really will come back again as 7! They still talk about their plans and intentions all the time.

Everything you want! But my dude,use the subtitles!!!! They have beautiful lyrics. Also "yet to come" is a really really significant and extremely loved song for us (the fandom)!! It's a trip through various eras of their career (among other things too)!!!

Yet To Come was very sad for the fans because it was released right before they announced their hiatus 😭 I could see it coming just by that video. They plan to come back together in 2025 once they all complete their mandatory military services. The oldest left in December 2022 and the 3rd oldest literally just left a few weeks ago. They still have the rest to go. I’m the meantime, they’re focusing on their solo projects. Agust D is one you have to check out!! He’s one of the members of BTS who is a rapper and he’s a solo rapper. His name is Suga in BTS but rapper name is Agust D

They’re not on a hiatus lol they’re doing solo stuff bc of the military. I think most ppl misunderstood them bc they don’t know what happens in K-pop typically when members go to the military in other groups. A couple different things are done…. Some groups actually continue and will release songs that the members in the military just have no part of sand they’ll continue to promote and perform pretty normally just missing members here and there. They will continue to go on variety shows, some do competition shows as a group… without whoever is gone… and lastly it’s solo career time until they’re done. So BTS was saying that they were not going to be making music to promote unless they were 7. They weren’t going on any competition shows unless they’re 7…. They’re focusing on the solo stuff while the MS is being done or until the last solo work is done. They specifically denied the word “hiatus” and jk was adamant about the word. Think it scares ppl for some reason or another

I am surprised to see that you enjoyed YET TO COME the most..... coz it's not everyone's cup of tea, and it has so many references from their songs in the past, it's hard to understand if you don't know about their previous songs but I'm happy that you enjoyed and I didn't expected that..... this song is not just a song for ARMYs but it's a promise that gave us in the form of this song.... in this song they promised that they will comeback and BTS's and ARMYs BEST IS YET TO COME, it's a song for ARMYs..... it's really emotional song for us as fans, it's a title track of their anthology album they released, that's when they announced their break from group activities so that they can grow individually, learn more and then make a comeback stronger than before, and they also have to complete their duties of military enlistment, 2 members are already enlisted, rest are doing solo activites right now..... they will comeback as a group in 2025💜

It references their past concerts/songs. The bus, stone statue, merry go round etc. You will find the production is outstanding in everything they touch. Hardest working individuals ever....You are going to have to react to some of their Award show performances at the MAMA'S 2017, 2018 and 2019 are just a few good ones! Rabbit hole is deep, you jumped, now keep going!!!❤

Mic Drop Yes RM speaks English as well as his native Korean and he also speaks Japanese he's trilingual. It's a remix I prefer their version with the extra extended dance breaks they use at Korean award shows also their live versions with a live band with heavy bass it's just more powerful.

Now that you are hooked, I would suggest starting from the beginning. They debuted in 2013. First video is No More Dream. You can watch them grow and evolve. They were amazing to begin with and only get better!

If you do nothing else when you watch a BTS mv make sure you put the subs on - their lyrics are intelligent, profound and witty. As an army (BTS fan) I find Yet To Come a little sad as it is the last song they gave us as a group before starting their solo projects and fullfilling their military service. The vid is chock full of references to their back catalogue. I like the school bus in particular because it references their first debut song where they are in a school bus. It's a bit like saying that the start and the end (for the time being) are one. These guys are worth your time.

They started on a bus...and ended (temporarily) on a bus. SMOOTH. All scenes are nods to previous music videos of their career. No more Dreams was the first video 2013...and they were on a School Bus.

Each member of BTS is a solo aristt with their own solo work. Together they are a global Super Group who sell out the biggest Stadium's in the world. Each member is a Song Writer, Composer and Producer each to a greater or lesser degree. They have far more freedom including artistic freedom than any other Kpop Group/artist. They put more money into the South Korean economy then rest of kpop combined. They have the 4 most awarded artist in the world and the the most awarded KPOP group. They made almost bankrupt company the Biggest Kpop company over taking the big 3 kpop companies. Their CEO even gave them all share's in the company something no other kpop company has ever done.

BTS has so many different songs I'm sure most people can find at least a few to like 😁 Plus they have solo works and covers. Kpop covers a lot of different genres as well. I like a mix of different kinds of music so that's why I like to listen to them.

so the current situation with the boys is that they have focused more on their individual careers and dropping their individual albums as they are enlisting to the millitary one by one. 2 members have already enlisted. they will be back around 2025-2026 as a group all together again to drop more fire group content. but dont worry. if you start watching each day a single episode from their variety shows, until the day the all returne you would still havent finished watching them all.

Their names are Kim Namjoon (RM...Rap Monster), Kim Seokjin (Jin the oldest he is currently in Korean Army), Min Yoongi ( Suga as in shooting guard aka Agust D currently on solo tour), Jung Hoseok ( J Hope also currently in Korean Army), Park Jimin (Jimin singer & very good dancer), Kim Taehyung (V....he's THAT guy) & Jeon Jungkook (Jungkook the youngest has lip piercing & right arm tattoo shoulder to hand he's their lead vocolist..pitch perfect! ). Your fave song here Yet To Come is 1 of their newer songs, came out last year with their Anthology album Proof. The other new songs were Run BTS & For Youth...which starts with the audience singing to them at Wembley stadium they even sang in Korean! The guys were in tears so touched!

1st of all, learning Korean has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. 💯 reccomend. 2nd, the Yet To Come video is jam-packed with references u just ain't gonna catch right now. To noobs it's just gonna a look like a bunch a guys went to the desert to drop acid a-la Jim Morrison. Come back to this after you're caught up with not just the music but their entire 10+ year career, wise conduct, and professionalism and you'll appreciate it wayyyy more.🎉Spring Day and the story behind that song is an excellent place to start.
