Yes, it's out of this world. Other reviewers have described them as alien superheroes disguised as young women, angels sent to save us, princesses of metal, and angry bridesmaids. Some background: They were formed from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief metalhead and soul of the band) recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" “pocket nuke”); they went and found the two guitarists, Midori and Miyako, who were with other bands, and the whole group then found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time. Miho and Miyako compose most of their music, in collaboration with Mao, the lead composer of another band called Lightbringer, but Midori has also been getting into the act. Asami writes a lot of the lyrics. They have only been around for just shy of 5 years. They studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Slayer etc. and they pretty much aced it all. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance is that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining. They have incorporated some of the best of each of those bands into their arsenal, and it seems clear they’re taking it to another level. They do everything from soulful power ballads to heavy thrash, and almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako and Midori. The two guitarists are quite different in style and tone. Midori (blonde ponytail) is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel. Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The contrast makes their duets rich and dynamic. It doesn’t hurt that either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. (As another reactor said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band.") Miyako is also a concert-level classical pianist, and some of their songs feature her on the piano. They are amazing live. No one has said it so beautifully : Japan is a home of rocker girls.

The whole song was in Engish, but it is hard to understand her accent sometimes when she sings. Listen to it again but turn on closed caption this time so you can follow along and you will be amazed by the uplifting message contained in the words. Yes, this band is unbelievable, in that the whole band is so talented with two phenomenal guitarists all in the same band.

congratulation to you I am so happy that you were another witness to the greatest metal/rock band in the world. Superiority is the operative word and yes no other band has reached the goals that these beautiful ladies have reached as of yet. If you continue this journey you will see just how powerful and talented they are, they relentless in the pursuit of greatness. These amazing ladies are giving every band a race for their money as several maybe many have tried to reach their caliber of talent. Don't get me wrong there are some amazing bands out there but Lovebites are in a whole different level and are quickly leaving everyone behind
