@@SanxBile You're right about that. Grew up right time for the start and end of his career. I never knew any stats but these are the things non-football fans care about. There are many players with mediocre stats that are clearly better than players with great stats. Take Zidane vs casemiro or something. I fell in love with Messi's play. It's unlike any other, especially in the times he played.

We will have more players like Ronaldo in the future, we only get a player like messi once in a lifetime Ronaldo was a top winger & striker using his height when he lost some speed, but what makes Messi the best is he could play left wing right winger striker but also attacking midfield & centre midfield & when he played in midfield he could easily become the best midfielder with his vision, composure, passing, link up play. There is no doubt Messi is the best all around footballer we have ever had.

Firstly Ronaldo is a striker and Messi is a playmaker/ attacking midfielder (who happens to be very good at scoring as well 😂). Also Ronaldo relies a lot on his power and athletic ability while Messi is far more technical with better ball control. Just 🐐 things ❤️ Yep, 2009-2017 Barcelona team were insane. Both him and Ronaldo have scored more than 800 goals each in their careers. Both are still playing too although I think Messi is taking a few years to relax in the MLS (the US league) playing for Miami. The MLS isn't anywhere near as good as all the European leagues so... yea, pretty easy league for him lol
