I took note of him in the world cup. I even thought barca wil snap him up but he ended up at everton. Frankie de jong leaving will help barca financially. His game has no substance though. Onana will fill in the void with ease. He is an enforcer with a great footballing brain.

@@Gojoismydad it was the levers he helped Laporta pull that made that happen. It was all him.If Deco is capable of that why hasn’t he come up with anything yet. Laporta coming in to last season was so confident that transfer window would be much better than the Kounde,Lewandowski,Raphinha window but we spent only 3 mil on Romeu because Alemany left. There’s a reason why Laporta wants him back. Deco is more of a Jordi Cruyff replacement not Alemany cos he doesn’t even have the genius to do that work let alone the experience.

22 year old 6’4 CDM who plays best in a double pivot role which fits Hansi Flicks tactics perfectly, great tackler, great in the air, pretty darn fast for his size clocking in at 36.65km/h. He is also pretty good on the ball(many people say otherwise but I doubt those people have actually seen him play). I think he would balance out our midfield, we have plenty of smart midfielders on the ball but what we lack are aggressive players like Onana.

Frenkie, Gundo, Onana would be the starters. Let Pedri and Gavi (who are still young) fully recover from their injuries. They can rotate and still get plenty of minutes. That’s how I would do it, but who knows who Flick will use.

I think we will rotate the midfield a lot, which is good. And probably we will get injuries sadly. But in an important match with everyone available we would play Gavi Pedri and Onana. Or De Jong instead of Gavi but honestly I think that Gavi could be better than him next season
