And is mostly knows for rock shows including.... The Beatles, rolling stones, black Sabbath and a shit ton more including black performers... Bob Marley spent most of his career there for instance.

As a young man regularly saw bands and artists preform there probably the most famous in 1983 Dire Straits Alchemy simply along with Queen Wembley 1986 and Led Zeppelin Earls Court London 1975 the best three concerts I’ve ever seen

You should check out some of the "8 out of ten cats" stuff with Jimmy and Sean lock. Sean was one of the few folks I ever saw make Jimmy carr Crack up. Rachel's ski costume is a great moment.

I've seen that before it was utterly brilliant, especially alan's reaction when he was all how the fuck he you come up wit that? & bill's gay elf romp thing was really put to shame.

This special is at the Hammersmith Apollo, west end of London, and a lot of the jokes are very UK-centric (I'm American and didn't catch a few of them). He is coming to the US in the Fall, however. I'm gonna try to hit up his show in Cleveland, nearest where I am, or his show in Atlanta near where most of my family is. I would absolutely love to heckle him and get torn apart. I've been a big fan of his since randomly watching 8 Out Of 10 Cats randomly on KZread a decade ago, and it is one of my dreams to see/engage him at a live show. One of my favorite comedians.

There is a thing about fast food places that have to change the recipe for bread in Europe because the level of sugar makes it a dessert, not a hamburger bun.

The reason they're all getting the jokes is because it's a London crowd. It's the Apollo in London, Not New York. Lots of places have an Apollo Theatre. We have one here in Victoria in an outer suburb of Melbourne called Hawthorn. Apollo was the Greek god of music and poetry. So many places have theatres called The Apollo.
