Best comedy character ever created. Once you go down the Alan Partridge rabbit hole you’ll find yourself in a public area listening to one of his audio books laughing your head off like a complete nutter 😊

The first few clips were not from the 'I'm Alan Partridge' series but from other shows featuring the same character, such as 'The Day Today.' 'I'm Alan Partridge' is a classic series though (two series in fact, each of six episodes) you really should see full episodes for the context and to do it justice. I would certainly recommend it - it's one of my favourites of all time. You won't regret it.

The first TV show to feature AP is excellent current affairs satire The Day Today.

AP starts as the sports correspondent on a TV show, then hosts his own TV show, then is demoted to local radio, before returning to TV presenting. In this show, he presents an East Anglian radio show.

He's basically a Z-lister who will turn up to the opening of a vein.

You must try the whole series "I'm Alan Partridge". Made by Armando Iannucci of Veep fame.

One of the best character's ever created.... the lore is so deep with this guy he has done books and podcasts and a film

Please watch full episodes - you'd enjoy them. I was disappointed when the "cock-piss-Partridge" conversation with the smirking receptionist didn't feature : ). Ditto for the swingers evening with the Lynx bloke.

Note AP’s soft-leather, aerated mesh-weave driving gloves. He was reluctant to hand them over when he spent ‘time’ in a young offender’s institution (borstal) having first applied to do the social experiment in a woman’s prison but getting turned down. For goodness sake.

As sports commentator in The Day Today, was going to mention this in your live stream, but thought you might’ve known his predecessor show

You need to watch the whole show to appreciate it. You'll love it as much as Alan loves Thai ladyboys!

I think the pedestrianisation of Bradford city centre is shit, and Reggie Photo thinks the same thing about the pedestrianisation of Preston city centre.

It is funnier within the context of the show but there was enough there for you to get the gist of it and have a few awkward, cringe worthy laughs.
