They have a new song called, "Wing". So new, it doesnt even have a music video yet. Other great ones from them are: 1) Do You Believe in Shame (ost from the 'Tequila Sunrise' movie) 2) Skin Trade 3) Notorious 4) Out of My Mind (ost from 'The Saint' movie) 5) My Antartica

The song is a Masterpiece! When you refer to the song's production, interestingly, Come Undone (and the album) was recorded in the Living Room of Duran Duran's guitarist at the time, Warren Cucurullo. Simon Le Bon, in an interview from the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, provided an anecdote about recording their album in Cucurullo's living room. He states that neighbors were sunbathing a few doors down and one of them knocked on the door. The neighbor asked if they could play something else (than what they were working on) because the sunbather's were getting bored with the same track they were playing. Link of the actual interview and live tracks of Ordinary World and Planet Earth from the Tonight Show: kzread.info/dash/bejne/domWmKWbZrndps4.html

The backing vocals is from Tessa Niles, who has worked with Duran Duran on some of their other albums as well. She has also sung back up for David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney and The Police, to name a few other artists.

This is my favourite Duran Duran song. I just love the feel of it, its just a stunning song. I saw DD at a small warm up show here in England, and they were playing lots of their more unknown songs and album tracks. Then the first notes of this track started and I was almost in tears I was so happy! Love it ❤

You'll never hear a DD song that doesn't have impeccable production. This was actually early 90s. 93 I think. Please consider reacting to Do You Believe In Shame. It's ONE of my favorites. Impossible to pick a favorite with these guys. A lot of mine either come off Rio or are deep cuts that only Duranies know exist like Palomino. Holy moly.

Hey, speaking of the guitar, did you know the riff for this song came from former band member Warren Cuccurullo messing around with the song "First Impression" from their failed album Liberty? "Come Undone" one of my favorites of all time! Oh, and this song is from the 90s not 80s!

I'm so happy you are starting to react to my favorite band of all time. I absolutely adore these guys and LOVE this song. They write and play everything themselves and are amazing live. John Taylor on bass is astounding if you ever check out his bass lines on early tracks like Rio and Girls on Film but even here, it's sings out. Other great tracks are Notorious, Save a Prayer (I think you did that one) Ordinary World from the same album as this, A View to a Kill, The Chauffeur, Girl Panic... there are too many to say

They returned to acoustic instruments and except for the electric guitar. No synthesizers that you heard in their 80s albums That guitar, Drums, tambourine, vocals. All old classic instruments coming together to make a mega watts ETHEREAL piece of song. Side note, they modernized James Bond's theme in A View to Kill!

This was the song that brought me back to Duran Duran. I was a HUGE fan in the 80s, but after 1989, I kind of lost interest and moved on to other artists. But I caught this on the radio when it came out in 1994 and was all "Hey that sounds like the singer from Duran Duran!" and about flipped when the DJ said it was indeed them. I was back on the bandwagon and haven't looked back since. Some tracks to check out from their 80s heyday: Planet Earth, Careless Memories, Sound of Thunder, Rio, New Religion, Hold Back the Rain, The Chauffeur, New Moon on Monday, The Seventh Stranger... so many more but I'll stop here. They just released a new album last year called Future Past. Check out the videos for Invisible & Anniversary.

Anton - this is actually one of DD's newer songs done in 93. But the hook and the flow of it are just perfection. It is my favourite of their newer material. You HAVE to delve into their older videos though. They are so much fun. Each one is like a little movie. My favourite is A View to a Kill - which is actually taken from the James Bond movie. Video is super cool. So is Hungry Like the Wolf, Save a Prayer, Rio, and the Wild Boys video is freaky as hell. Simon LeBon (lead singer) almost drowned in it doing the turns underwater on the windmill. Amazing song though. My PERSONAL favourite though is The Reflex. It's a concert video done in Toronto - but the song is the best - and just makes you want to dance. Don't try to analyze the lyrics though. The band doesn't even know what they mean. Cheers from a fellow Canuck.

Anton, no, Come Undone is not one of Duran Duran's "newer" songs nor is it "newer" material! As stated, the song was released in 1993 Over 28 Years Ago! Good Riddance! Duran Duran has released eight albums and over a hundred plus songs since Come Undone was made. A newer song would be tracks like Hammerhead or All Of You from their latest album, Future Past, released on October 22, 2021! Just over a month ago and not in 1993! You should check their actual "newer" catalog of songs, too.

Not sure what you mean by newer (?) as this is nearly 30 years old, from The Wedding Album in 1993, and they've released 8 albums since that time, including their newest, Future Past, just released in October.

Anton, when you do a reaction to Hungry Like The Wolf, my suggestion is to do a reaction to Hungry Like The Wolf (Night Version) rather than the video/single version. The video is a classic but the audio for the Night Version is sonically much more pleasing and a bit more energetic, if you will.

John Taylor is known as one of the best bassists in rock music and Come Undone has a great pulsating bass line. However, Come Undone is one of the rare Duran Duran recordings in which John Taylor does not play the bass. The album was being recorded in London and the band was pretty much finished with its production. John Taylor lived in Los Angeles and flew home but Nick Rhodes (DD Keyboardist) worked on the song and came up with the programmed bass line for Come Undone with John Jones, who did additional programming and engineering on the album.
