Yes.

Dreamcatcher are very unique. They are the dark angels of Kpop and the only girl group who consistently incorporate Rock and Metal in their title tracks, fusing that with Kpop into something that basically is a new genre. They also are drenched in horror and social criticism, which again is special. Plus, they are massively talented, all of them. And while the girls look like they could rip your spine out when they are on stage, off stage they are adorable crackheads. 😉 I recommend their masterpiece "Deja Vu" and for some more fun, react to their self-made MV for the b-side "Sahara"!

Not ashamed to admit I´m lowkey obsessed with Dreamcatcher. Love their music and their personalities. All their title tracks have this rock influence, which is unique for K/pop since rock isn´t that popular there. They also have a couple of Japanese release which lean heavier to rock, because, well, you guys know the Japanese love their metal. :) The next songs in this series (the nightmare series) are (in order): Good Night, Fly High, You and I, What and Piri These are followed by the Dystopia trilogy: Scream, Boca and Odd Eye Their B-sides are just as good but they show a lot of versatility there, ranging from Jazz to EDM and pretty much everything in between.

Finally Dreamcatcher! the girls deserve a space here :) I hope you guys can at least react to their title tracks. Listening to their older songs and progressing into newer ones, you can really feel how much they progressed musically. The producers and the girls found their style really quick and stick to it while trying a lot of different genres. From latin or electronic sounds to pure metal, they made every genre without compromising their signature sound. This journey it's really worth it IMO

Shadow is amazing. Both versions are fantastic and whichever one is your favorite really depends on subjective opinion. The slow version highlights their vocals whereas the original is a lot heavier.

Is this your first time? Well congratulations for expanding your horizon. Dreamcatcher is still lies under the kpop genre but they have infuse some rock and metal into their discography. There's so much more to listen to. I would like to see you guys continuing the journey in order so you can watch them evolve and improve within each comeback until now. i know someone else said this but i would definitely recommend watching the nightmare series (Good Night, Fly High, You and I, What and Piri) first and then going into either dystopia or their japanese tracks like deja vu and endless night (my 2 favorites). they also do more edm songs like in the frozen and silent night

I had avoided reactions to these ladies on other reaction channels as K-Pop wouldn't be for me. But after listening to Black Pink and Pink Poison that music is starting to grow on me. Dreamcatcher are definitely very talented and far easier to listen to and enjoy than what's currently on the radio on this side of the planet (Ireland). Great reaction lads! Oh, K-pop is a whole black hole; it's not so much a genre, as it is a _system_ (the "idol" system) by which they train and put together their acts. What we think of as music labels serve basically as entertainment schools, where prospective idols join a company at a fairly young age, and train in singing, rap, dance, acting, TV presenting, the works, and then eventually (hopefully) get to debut, be it as a soloist or part of a group. Within that dynamic, though, they cover the whole gamut of genres (actually heck, Dreamcatcher do that _all on their own..._ 😂). But there's also music that comes via more "independent" sources; bands that formed much more organically, like Rolling Quartz, and Onewe (who _have_ been through the idol process, but were already a band before they signed up for that)...

FINALLY! been waiting for this, i hope you continue the nightmare storyline :)

If you're going to react to their past MVs make sure to do it order bc all of them are connected in one storyline! Here's a simple description of each MVs from the 'Nightmare' series Fly High (prequel): Jiu caught a spider in the backyard, but Yoohyeon killed it with magnifying glass which caused all of them to get cursed one by one by the Spider and became a nightmare Chase Me: a ghost hunter (Spider lady's ally) came to find and trap Dreamcatcher inside the 'book' that linked to each nightmares that the girls represent, but failed Good Night: the ghost hunter managed to trapped SuA but the members saved her by burning the page of her nightmare from the book, then trapped the guy inside the mirror afterwards.. the girls then escaped from that place and dropped the book in the forest You And I: Dreamcatcher members living together in a new home, they opened a small photo studio and mess with people's dream/nightmare by using their pictures taken there. but one day a lady came for a photo (which happend to be the Spider lady) ,the Spider lady then transformed and attacked Yoohyeon who killed her as a revenge. Jiu who caught the Spider in 'Fly High' knew what's going on and try to save Yoohyeon who are currently trapped in another realm by performing ritual, but Yoohyeon didn't make it to the portal at the end, now she trapped alone What: the rest of the Dreamcatcher now living apart in modern era, but Yoohyeon always appeared in the dream of the members as if she's calling for help ,especially Jiu.. the members expressed their confusion and eager to overcome the nightmare in the lyrics PIRI (ending): while wandering around Yoohyeon found a Piri (flute in Korean) ,with a hope to reunite with her members again she then use the Piri as an SOS call. right after she blow the Piri ,all of the members are summoned and now entered Yoohyeon's realm ,but in order to meet Yoohyeon each of them have to overcome their nightmare trials.. the members then eventually reunited at the end, trapped together in the 'Nightmare' P.s - Dreamcatcher's Japanese MV 'Breaking Out' can be used as an alternative ending as well

True, but that contract will expire at the end of August and will not be renewed. So that means that their Japanese activities are over, or they need to find another partner... Personally, I think they will focus on their Korean/International activities, the Japanese market, especially because of the pandemic, has not been very lucrative and takes up a lot of time...

Не плохо рассказанная история в музыке. Может чуть излишне была яркость в видео. Мне показалось, что есть незавершённость в музыке, но видео-то завершено... В этом есть несоответствие для моего восприятия. И ещё об одной детали (я специально пересмотрела эти фрагменты несколько раз!): парень на мир смотрел через объектив. На сколько реален был мир для него? Фотографии, возникающие образы - в музыке это проявлялось незначительно. Был хороший вокал. Вы, дорогие, отлично о нём рассказали! (я уверена в этом, хоть и не понимаю английский). Что-то для меня в этой песне не сложилось в этот раз. Я чувствовала резонанс.

I hope you keep going. I'm a huge babymetal and band maid fan, but probably an even bigger Dreamcatcher fan

Not a badly told story in music. Maybe the brightness in the video was a little too much. It seemed to me that there is an incompleteness in the music, but the video is complete... There is a discrepancy in this for my perception. And one more detail (I have specially reviewed these fragments several times!): the guy looked at the world through the lens. How real was the world for him? Photos, emerging images-this was manifested only slightly in music. There was a good vocal. You, dear ones, have told us a great story about him! (I'm sure of it, even though I don't understand English). Something didn't work out for me in this song this time. I felt the resonance.

Nice reaction. Nemophila just dropped a live, outdoor venue Concert, no audience, they do Oiran live. Walls of hair banging. Live at Naon Yaon 2021. Numerous bands play there, but still no audience again this year. But they are incredible here.

Kpop with a heavy Rock influence, cool. The Korean and the Japanese are doing Rock/Metal Plus Pop far better than we are in the west. Too many of our "Pop Stars" are more interested in "stardom" than any musical creditability. Sidenote; Who else does the daily crossword with Kpop, Jrock/metal playing??

Yeah, they definitely do it right in those countries and a lot of others as well. We don't but that does sound pleasant.
