Like most, i am a massive Dimash fan. This performance was spine-tingling on a level that is beyond words. He is quite simply the best vocalist and performer i have ever seen or heard. I have been lucky to see him live and no other concert i have been to comes close. I walked out and felt blessed i had been in the same arena as him. He is everything.

Я жила в гостинице Астана, совсем рядом со стадионом, и имела возможность наблюдать за тем как строилась сцена, устанавливались экраны! Но самые завораживащие моменты были тогда, когда проходили репетиции 🥰🥰🥰. Голос, звук- это просто не передать словами. Прошло столько времени, а всё ещё счастлива от того, что провела это три незабываемых дня в Алмате.

I’m also an MJ fan, I have been for more than 30 years since I was a child. I never thought that I could be fan of someone else until I met Dimash 3 years ago. He is just perfection. Him tripping in MJ mode on an opera song is everything ! It’s the perfect fusion I never thought I needed in my life until I heard it 🔥

@@brittreacts Even if you plan to react to more than one performance of his songs (he typically substantially alter things for different performances of the same song, sometimes so dramatically they are really completely distinct works of art), it sometimes makes sense to pick the order in which you plan to do them. In the rest of this comment I will try to faithfully reflect what I think what the majority of Dears would mention. ---- For Be With Me, imo (and that of many other Dears) the best performance to react to first is the official MV. This is partly because it seems he played a significant part in developing the screenplay for it, and regardless of whether that's true or not, he's the lead actor in it, and is just as compelling in it (despite it being a very different role) as he was in The Story Of One Sky, and he also gets to show of his, er, chops as, well, you'll see. But it's also because of how great it is as an entertaining MV that's... well, again, you'll see! (And while we're on Be With Me, note that he composed it. And a final thing: imo the Digital Dimash version is the weakest, though perhaps that's just because the MV is as good as it is.) ---- For Give Me Your Love (an original, though it was composed for him rather than by him) I recommend you pick a live concert performance. Imo the absolute best are the ones he did in late 2019, when he was first really nailing the dance moves created for the song. As I understand things no one had seen Dimash dance so well at his concerts, and, more to the point, the chemistry between Dimash and the dance choreographer / his instructor / the lead female dancer was so hot that horrified Dears went into meltdown worldwide. 🤣 My own two favorites are the New York and St Petersburg performances (in 2019, a couple weeks apart). I have a favorite between them but I get the impression Dears are about split on which is best. So I'll leave you to pick. (Maybe you can remember to ask Dears at the end if they think the one you picked was his best. If nothing else that'll give us a mini vote we can all see.)

Love Dimash and the fact he admires Michael a lot, because he was one in a million. Some reactors critized Dimash for the pop part of this song, when he screams like Michael. Dimash was so full of energy in that moment of the concert that he couldn't avoid to scream like MJ, in my opinion.

This is my favorite Dimash performance. You can see him shine in a lot of variety. It showcases so much of his prowess, including his showmanship and vocal agility and versatility. This made, no better will be: this music god! Made us spanish speaking people wait for a 6 or more years for a spanish singing. He is masterful in everything he does, the comparison with Michael is so right, that is his favorite singer! Not only the way he sang but the entire grandiosity of a show. This man will make whatever amount of money you pay for the tickets, worth every cent. This people have witnessed the first time he sings in a spanish song, we have waited years, but worth every day of them to hear him sing this work of art!

Miraculous is the best word I've heard for this. This is by far my favorite Dimash performance so far. He always blends genres, but this is on another level. It leaves me bresthless and in tears. Hey Britt! You should totally start with Dimash's appearance on The Singer. It's the competition he got famous through in 2017 and contains a lot of his most memorable songs that became popular through the competition - his rise to fame afterwards is an incredible journey to follow. And, if you like MJ, you're in for a ride. Michael is one of Dimash's inspirations - he's performed multiple of his songs, he moonwalks, dresses like him, acts like him when singing his more upbeat pop/rap songs. You'll love everything else you have to witness, there are literally HUNDREDS of unique performances. Some songs he never performs the same way each time you hear it, so us fans are always so excited to hear him perform a classic, because it's so different to what we know and love.

Upon university graduation he was offered a lead position in the permanent company of a world class opera house. He declined in order to pursue his PhD and other projects. He is now writing his Doctoral thesis for it while simultaneously maintaining a successful performing career. He is recognized academically and by the the music industry as a genius level talent. Yes, I was there in Almaty, just over three months ago. The stage was gigantic, with three huge columns behind Dimash. He started The show by jumping down one of those gigantic columns. It was quite impressive!

Did you know that an old friend of Michael admired Dimash so much that she gave him a poster of Michael that was signed by Michael. She knew Dimash was a fan of Michael. The fantastic thing about the poster is the date that Michael signed it. It is Dimash's birth date. So he is to me Michael's reincarnation but with a better voice.

Britt, so cool that you got a chance to see this performance, the entire concert is unreal and typical of Dimash's concerts from what I've heard average 3-4 hours long. This concert was in front of his home audiance in Almaty. Go watch it when you have a chance, his live performance of "The Story of One Sky" will blow you away! Dimash makes no apologies about being a Michael Jackson super fan.
