First time PEGGING!! Horsing around in Walsall // Jay Shareef Discovers Neza Bazi
I was invited to an equestrian competition in Walsall called "Neza Bazi" - aka "Pegging" aka "Tent Pegging" - an ancient cavalry sport that originated in the Indian subcontinent during the middle ages. It's mainly practiced in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and some parts of Sindh and Balochistan. However, it's very popular with the Punjabi diaspora internationally as well. This was one of many events that take place regularly across the UK. And, as I found out, it can be VERY dangerous - even for experienced riders. (I'll spare you the gruesome footage of the accidents that happened on the day I made this film).

@@alexhazledine8868 I used to work in Wolves. And I gotta admit there's a lot of drearyness across Brum and Black Country. However, I do plan to make a *positive* video at some point soon about all the good stuff we have here too. 🙂 Looking forward to seeing your films too.
