I literally watched the whole thing and was like ohhhh yess that makes sense now, he made me realize a lot of stuff

the way best friends transitions into is there someone else and then starry eyes is too smooth I can listen to those 3 constantly

This album is one of the best concept albums I've heard in recent times cause not many artists do that and I love it for what it is and the whole story and how reflective it is. My Top 3 tracks are: Gasoline, Out Of Time, Less Than Zero and I absolutely love Take My Breath as just like a standalone track

@@mohahmed4304 its not the sound it's the lyrics, he constantly repeats what he does in past albums to make it seem like he's making the same mistakes, he's just rehashing old ideas. Kiss Land had innovation, so did after hours, you actually would've understood if you were a fan

You guys r so adorable…Trying ur best to figure it all out! I love that so much! From Abel’s mixed tapes, House of Balloons, Thursday & Echoes of Silence, to his EP, Kiss land, to his Debut Album, Beauty Behind the Madness, to his Sophomore album, Star boy, to his 2nd EP, My Dear Melancholy, to his last two studio albums After Hours & Dawn FM have been nothing less than, “Pure Genius Artistry”, at its best! Every song on Dawn FM serves a purpose & are all meant to be there! Not one song is a filler..This is a conceptual album, one that is not that simple to figure out…It’s deeper than anyone even realizes!

Oh nice! This is currently my favorite album

The convo after ‘here we go againˋ was so interesting. That thought about death being scary but once you go through it and move through it, it can be freeing and liberating..I could say the same thing about having disappointments in love or break ups. They’re the scariest and worst at the beginning but once you work through them and let go of things you can come out freer and stronger and hopefully into better things

this album needs to be listened to after watching Blue Velvet, Number 23, Starry Eyes, The Truman Show, Southbound (for that radio reference) Videodrome, Taxi Driver and Eyes Wide Shut, Abel is a known cinemaphile and he incorporates a lot of movies into his albums, you'll have such a better understanding of this movie after watching those movies

Also on the second half of the album I feel that essentially as he is “getting closer to the light” he’s experiencing the other side of the coin. Things that he has done and trying to get right. Hes now the one questioning if “..there’s someone else”. Now he’s not wanting to be put in a situation to hurt and be hurt by someone. Near the end he denies someone because it would be giving into the toxic love that he has provided Which in turn shows growth and transformation. “Less Than Zero” is his acceptance. That last release of letting go of the toxicity while still remaining accountable since he knows she tried her best with him and ultimately he’s the reason.
