They debuted with 2 songs. Boombayah and Whistle. It's just that whistle got more recognition and was more promoted that time since Boombayah was banned in some Korean shows with the same reasons as other YG songs got banned - mentioning brands or curse words.

They have 2 debut song, Whistle which is for Pink side of them while this Boombayah is the Black side of them! 😉

I feel like concerts are better performances! Crazy fact, Jennie actually sprained her ankle when they were taping the debut “whistle” stage and had to be taken to the hospital in between, given pain meds to come back and do the taping for boombayah bc she didn’t want to let her group or blinks down…. And they never cancelled a performance, concert or appearance or anything where she was allowed to rest… like jungkook cut open his foot and couldn’t dance… but he was on stage on a chair and would sing with the group and they would interact with him during the group songs and stuff. I mean they were performing so much with this poor girl hopped up on pain meds to perform… she’s got a weak stomach and she would get so dizzy bc that’s what happens with pain meds… and the worst part is yge never even announced it… so ppl never knew until she was using crutches and a wheel chair at the airport and after the show and stuff. It’s wild how much he pushed them.. these girls deserved better than being used and not respected enough to take care of them just makes me mad

I think it is because the song got banned in most Korean shows due to mentioning brands in lyrics so BP and YG focused on promoting Whistle instead.
