    @@shawnmand5607 He has no idea which one it was though. Why would he just help the heel keep the belt by DQ when he doesn't even know who did it. And why would he cost the face the chance to win a match by ending it when he again has no idea who did it! He doesn't even know if it's one of the two or someone that was interfering. The ref could only call what he sees.

I predict 6-9 months for the feud, max 5 matches culminating at one of their premier PPV’s, then transitioning into some tag work, a grown-up, mature version of the old E&C.

    ​@peytonlong5573 they didn't even sell it right lol She shouldn't even be looking like she would be willing to attack Edge at all, which is why the commentators had to pivot immediately and say she was looking "torn"😂😂 you could tell even they were confused. Plus she was far away from Christian so not only did he have to turn really fast to face her, he had to overreact to get her attention and essentially be like "look at me", despite the fact she should be closer to him in order to sell that she is going to attack him and automatically be on Edge's side so sell the sudden turn. Just a clusterfuck all around 😂😂😂

The fact we’re seeing them both in a ring to begin with was something no one thought they’d see live again. To me, at least, it’s just nostalgic that they’re still able to do what they do. They’re both also 50 years old, so again, I’m just excited to see them both in action again

    I don't understand why in storyline she even pretended to have the struggle there was no reason. Cage has done nothing on screen to cause the mental power struggle. Should of just came out had Christian duke and accidentally hit Adam. This was a total failure of a turn.

    It's crazy how both of them can still perform at such a high level given all the wear and tear they put themselves through. 22 years ago these two had an intense ladder match and it's like they never aged a day since in the ring.

    She's a mother 1st and vengeful woman second. As much as she couldn't stand Christian Cage's influence over her son, Cage didn't hurt her son; Adam did, and right in front of her like she didn't matter. In her mind, it's bad enough that her son's father is no longer around. She's not going to allow anyone to convince him that his mother doesn't matter. No parent would.

    Hell of a main event. Adam Copeland pulled out a great performance against Christian Cage. When Nick Wayne’s mom came out, I had a feeling she was coming down there to cost Copeland the TNT Championship, and I called it. She still hasn’t forgotten what he did to her son Nick Wayne 2 weeks ago, hitting a Con chair to on him right in front of her center of the ring.

    Christian and Adam are both absolute ring generals, Christian had the wherewithal to even hold the title left handed when he was going to clock Adam, little details like that, playing up the injury to his hand, the left handed punches, the shaking his hand in pain, Adam biting the right hand, every little detail was nice.

    Wow, what a match! Christian Cage and Adam Copeland tore the house down with their amazing performance. They have so much chemistry and history together and they used it to create a masterpiece. Cage is a phenomenal TNT champion and Copeland is a phenomenal challenger. AEW is the place to be for wrestling fans!

    Glad they did the smart thing and put Christian over for their first match! If Adam had gone over it would have snuffed out Christian's flame too early. This match made Christian look really strong so their rivalry (and eventual reunion) will remain epic.

    Loved this match, this was just pure quality. Great grappling, great story telling, this is what pro wrestling is all about. Everything made sense, knowing how to counter each other's signatures and finishers, their history and knowledge making them evenly matched. It was really perfect.

    Really great match, but I was expecting as much I feel like the ending was a bit...whatever....but everything before that was incredible, especially that intense beginning where it felt like Adam was just trying to DESTROY Christian.
