0:42 haha the little red car brought a smile. We were indeed chauffeured very comfortably everywhere. 2:10 is probably the moment when Kinley knew... he can be a prankster with us. More on that in the next few vlogs. Generally, day 1 of arrival to Bhutan also serves as an acclimatisation (since Thimphu is 2,334m above sea level), so the activities are generally less strenuous. That said, do get ready for 20k steps daily walks minimally. So, walk on with us through Bhutan in the next few vlogs, cheers!🙂

@tzew I think the overall high elevation has got us panting/breathing hard with just the slightest bit of physical exertion e.g. climbing stairs/slopes. 🤭😆 More of that in the next few vlogs hahahhaha.

Hi Jelly and Mr. P, I can feel the joy and excitement from the video. 2:10 I can feel a sudden gust of cold air from Bhutan. Ha ha ha. Awww it's a pity you didn't get to go into the Tashichö Dzong. 13:13 The flag is huge! It must have been heavy.

@tobyteng7522 thanks for always supporting our vlogs. Always ready to dish out them dad jokes 😂 earn groans and ??? from both Kinley and jelly, so it’s a win. Anw travels is as such, we didn’t manage to get into tashichho dzong but we will remember our time there being around the same time as the naming ceremony of the princess Sonam Yangden Wangchuck. Perhaps luck also have it that led us to enjoying Punakha Dzong even more, since it’s the only dzong we went too.

Hello! Could you share more about what to prepare in terms of cash/payment for a traveller from Singapore? Thanks!

Hello! Thanks for watching our vlog & joining the @oheyjelly KZread fam! ❣️ In terms of cash, we didn't bring much for our trip. Almost everything (accommodations, food, sights etc) are taken care of as part of the tour package with your appointed tour operator. This is because Singaporeans (as well as most other tourists) are not allowed to visit Bhutan 'free & easy'. Any spare cash you bring along will be for personal purchase of souvenirs, snacks, tributes etc.

@@CEn-ro5ye Hello there, you could bring along SGD or USD and change at the airport. Alternatively, we used a multi currency card to withdraw Bhutanese Ngultrum direct. There is an atm at the airport, near the baggge carousell. Your guide would also be able to direct you to an atm within the town centre. Have a good trip!
