Love this! You're gonna get a lot of Tool-crazies in the comments, but it's for a reason, this band is old, and they do NOT have a lot of albums! They take their time, every song is perfect, they have a lot of different vibes, lots of different ideas, through a very definite sound! They love exploring, and they love throwing in "fillers" between songs, but that are truly experiments in audio satisfaction, they really are the best at what they do, each of the four band member a true character and master of their craft.

Great reaction! I reco Eulogy. It showcases a near-spiritual build then branches into epic drops with varying polyrhythms. And it’s a great journey lyrically with a classic angry Maynard scream.

Tool is an amazing and very musically satisfying rabbit hole. All 4 of them are masters of their craft and they have so many really great songs (covering many moods and feelings). I totally recommend the Pneuma drum cam, and then some of my personal favorites are Eulogy, Right in Two, the Grudge and Jambi. You won't be disappointed - but a word of advice in general, skip their videos and just do the audios. Also - its very hard the categorize Tool into a genre. They are kind of a genre of their own...

Lyrics!...pull up their lyric please. Interpret them as you feel...the poetry, nuisance, & ambiguity allow for personal experience. (albeit, a few tracks are rather straightforward-ish)
