It can go both ways. I worked. He lived on weed and unemployment. I had perfect credit and paid the bills. He job hopped and pawned things. I stayed. He wanted out. I was mandated for insurance, he had $75 a month support that took 10 years of garnishing his unemployment to collect on 3 years support until she was out of school. I paid the taxes, the divorce, the medical co-pays and many other things. took me years to recover financially.. Be careful who you pick.. But - Great song Toby.. you are missed..

I like the way you talk about what you are watching, like your voice, very sad song, read before you sign, divorce is not an option, go to sleep and we will start again in the morning, I smile brightly 🔥🔥

I love Toby Keith. Musts are surely "I Love This Bar", "Trailerhood", "Bullets In The Gun" (great music video), "Beer For My Horses" with Willie Nelson, "A Little Less Talk and a Lot More Action" or the fun "Who's Your Daddy". The list could go on and on....

Brings Toby's early years to mind. Thanks much for the reaction. A much more pleasant one from those days for me is "We Were in Love"; his voice is so dynamic in this one.

Amen on the marriage part sir. ESP for men. You are one of the few people I could sit down with and have a good conversation with. Thanks for not just your reactions but your other life stuff you put in there

I married a woman who has been my best friend for 25 years before we got married. She has been the only one who was always there when I was at my lowest

Love Toby and loved when he performed younger and sober on stage. This song was played a lot back in the day. He has a few of these types in his cannon, he's very good at them. Enjoyed your reaction, loved the Mario shirt, my friend! ❤ If you want this same type of song that goes totally the other way, you should listen to Tyler Farr, "Redneck Crazy" 😅

Genius idea sparked by your comments. On every marriage license there should be a primary and secondary applicant. The primary is responsible for a renewal fee every five years or the license is automatically voided.

I'm So Happy That I Can't Stop Crying. It's another song about the same topic. Keith first Greatest Hits album is a front to back banger. I think that was his best song writing years.

I believe Toby Keith has been married almost 40 years. Guess the song was a generalization about the times. I also believe we can thank President Regan for no-fault divorce.

I was always under the impression that the man he refers to is the woman's new boyfriend or husband. The singer is watching another man take his place with his family and within even his physical home, from which he has been erased.

Met my Wife in Honduras when i was working counter drug intelligence in the U.S. Army, we got married just over a year later and now we are at 19 years. It seems for a big part overseas is where the women are more traditional, every American women I was in a long term relationship with started cheating as soon as i went to Iraq. Not saying al American women are like that but the traditionalism is definitely fading here and more power to the ladies just don't keep talking crap about American men marrying women from overseas lol I have even heard the "she is just looking for a green card", well it took a longtime to convince her to even visit America, she wanted to stay in Honduras then another 10 years to become a citizen because she wanted me to retire back to Honduras lol well 19 years married, over 20 together, 4 kids all from the same marriage both of us 1st time being married and in the military if your wife stays with you over 10 years she is basically immediately eligible to receive 50% of your retirement after divorce not counting child support but she is still here lol When we argue (all people argue!) we always say "well you made the 10 year mark so your covered" lol. Again, I am not saying anything negative about ALL American women, I am just saying it seems to be getting easier to find traditional beliefs in other countries ❤

You both make me angry & break my heart. I wish you & everyone could have what my husband & I had for 49 years. He was my best friend & the love of my life. That 1st part is so important. One piece of advice offer: If you wouldn't do it or say it to a good friend, do not do it or say it to your spouse. I'll never stop missing him.

Marriage doesn’t always work out great for women. I spent years as a stay at home mom while he climbed the corporate ladder. Once our youngest kid hit 18, he was gone, having an affair with someone younger who would have more kids for him.

Toby has a great catalog. Unfortunately, reactors only react to the same songs/videos. This is one of Toby’s early works. If you continue to discover his work, listen to the great Willie Nelson singing back-up in most of his so gs.
