WRONG. The song was inspired by the birth of the song writer’s (Reggie Lucas) daughter. Common knowledge. And she “dated” MJ. I doubt it’s a high point in her personal life.

I love when younger generations listen too and enjoy classic and timeless music like this!

I had the pleasure of seeing her live in concert about four years ago. Her voice is still pitch perfect after all these years, and she’s a dynamic performer. Amazing pick, gentlemen!

It was a really great song for a long long time. She was charismatic and people really liked her. This song just always had a very special happy energy to it - back in the day. Love it every time I still hear it .

Everytime I went to see my grandfather in the hospital in 1982 I would hear this on the radio. It may be wierd but this always brings me back to him. I can picture going down the Schuylkill expressway by boat house row hearing this.
