@@jeperstone Thanks for correcting people about interpretation of art. We really need you to tell us what to make of the lyrics. It's better than enjoying it in a personal way, we should just search for the intent the writer had.

One of they most beautiful song, was ever written by Thom Yorke, with his beautiful Angelic voice, This is my all time favorite song

I'm a fan of all types of music including metal, pop, electronic. Creep might be the best song of all-time.

I'm so glad to see an emotional reaction to this song. When I was a teen (20 years) ago I did what everyone does when they're sad and listen to songs that made me feel even sadder, and this one was a given. I can't tell you how many times I teared up when he says "I want a perfect soul, I want you to notice when I'm not around". Eventhough this wasn't my generation's teenage angst anthem, it was mine. Radiohead and smashing pumpkings were the bands I listened to when I wanted to dig my hole deeper.

Great choices, love both for these sad moments. I cried during Disarm performance from Shasmign Pumpkins at Loolapalooza Brazil 2015 (with pouring raing and my girlfriend on my side)

He lays open all our hopes and desires on the table for critique and ridicules himself like we all do inside. As in the song he does himself down, and we're all guilty of that in the folly of youth. The piece is so raw and true it doesn't go stale. Great reaction.

I've heard lots of good covers, but nothing comes near to Thom Yorke's pure raw emotional projection of Radiohead's *MASTERPIECE* ...and that's why this song is covered so much! It has been in my top 5 since it was released and it's never left it - I doubt it ever will. PLEASE listen to 'Street Spirit' (Fade Away) by Radiohead.....haunting is an understatement 🖤

Something about this song which is kinda interesting is the fact that Radionhead and Thom Yorke as the songwriter and singer. . . grew to dislike the song after it became a HUGE international hit. The problem is the same for a lot of bands that a have a BIG HIT early in their career. . . what do you do for an encore? How do you follow up on something as monumentally brilliant as Creep? There IS an answer to that but I will not be so booring as to labour my point at this stage. Anyway. . . the song resonates with many people. Who hasn't experienced a bit of creepy limerance?

The song was about ,inspired by a girl that Yorke (lead singer) had followed around and who unexpectedly attended a Radiohead performance.

I recommend Diamond Eyes by Deftones. Underrated Band and Song.

Hallo Tracie, looking for your reaction on 'Back To Black' I saw this one. I'm not gonna watch it as I'm not interested in Radiohead (I know this song in their version...), but I wanted to let you know that Haley Reinhart did a wonderful cover of this with Postmodern Jukebox. Haley in my opinion is the most gifted female singer they have over in the US, criminally underrated though. They switched this up completely, making it a piece of great Jazz, and her vocals are just brilliant, incredible masterpiece, don't miss that! And there's a lot more to discover with Haley, but I'd suggest you start with this one, it was also my entry to her world as there are a lot of reactions to it out there and I happened to stumble upon one, about 15 months ago. @@symplytraciereacts , that would be awesome, I can assure you you won't regret it, and I would love love love to watch you react on Haley's/PMJ's take on that, all the more as you now know the original. For a Jazz lover like me Haley's version is about 100 times better than the original which I honestly never loved, but liked back in the days as the lyrics are great, you have to give credits for that to Radiohead... but since I got to know Haley's version I don't even want to listen to the original one more time...
