I thought instead I had to face it and train a lot, and in the end I dismissed everything with an "I'll be myself, I'll give everything I can". So I did some push-ups and after three or four shows of pure agony my muscles started to react positively and after that it was fine. I'm glad I did that tour, because it was one of the biggest and most successful ever, and I'm glad I jumped in." Thanks to God he did it, but sadly never again.

This song was written by Brian about the very first tour that Queen ever went on as a band. They were the warm up band for Mott The Hoople which was a very popular touring band at the time. Queen was very well received on that tour and was asked to continue with Hoople on the tour of the U.S. That was the only time that Queen toured and was not the headlining band. I really love this song, it brings me the excitement of the band realizing that they really had a chance their dreams becoming their reality. Thank you for your reaction.

Love this song penned by guitarist Brian May giving nods to their U.S. Tour while opening for Mott The Hoople, hence the line “down in the city just Hoople and me.” Mott the Hoople is best known for their song “All The Young Dudes” written by David Bowie”. You should react to the live version from the Rainbow '74 concert. This song is from their 3rd album Sheer Heart Attack and was brand new at the Rainbow concert. Also Liar from the Rainbow '74 concert is amazing too. Pay close attention to John Deacon (bass) during Liar - he absolutely kills it.
