The first time I heard of Polina Gagarina was on a show like Britain's Got Talent, but it was a song by her but was performed by a girl whose name was Aida Nikolaychuk. The song was called "Lullabye but in Russian/Ukrainian. The judges stopped Aida, because they thought she was lip syncing to a recording. They asked her to sing acapella, which she did, and blew the judges away. The song was beautiful, so I looked up Polina's version on KZread and she was incredible. Then I found this song, Cuckoo, which she sang on a show called The Singer from Japan. BTW, Jessie J was on the same show but a different year, and she won first place. When I looked up Polina's placing, I couldn't believe she came in 5th placed. With this performance alone, she should have won 1st place. She also sang the song "Hurt" by Christina Aguilera, which can also be found on KZread.

Cool to see this video, I've been planning on visiting Russia and learning russian while I'm there and so I starting looking on youtube for russian music and Polina was one of the singers I came across and is my favourite russian singer right now even though I don't know any russian and don't understand anything she sings lol
