Taka said they wanted to write songs that made an impression on society, not just noise like other bands. This was their tour with Orchestra Japan. Most of them play more than one instrument, too. Japan has some of the best musicians in the world. One Ok Rock is very special: no gimmicks, plastic surgery or auto tune, just pure talent on stage!❤

Goosebumps everytime I watched this performance esp. on the latter part of the song. Taka really brings out that emotion that can pull you into something. A great frontman indeed.

ONE OK ROCK just announced their North American Tour!! Yay!

I am so lucky because I am scheduled to fly to LA for a week from Portugal to table at an art convention since last year and One Ok Rock just announced their North American tour yesterday and it is during the SAME WEEK. I was shocked by the coincidence and was able to get the ticket to their concert 🥲 Their live performances are the best!!! It’s one of the best experiences being one of the crowd in a one ok rock concerts

May I suggest Cry out - live ambitions tour. And they can get really raw and dirty with deep deeper. Specially live at mighty long fall tour in yokohama stadium will defo blow your beanie off! As you said: they inspire, their energy and they are the voice for the voiceless. One Ok Rock is my favorite band and their songs and lyrics have literally given me the words to my feelings and my emotions when I couldn't find them myself. And they have done so multiple times.

One Ok Rock really know how to write beautiful lyrics and it's really hard to find a song that can't go through your heart! Songs that I would like to recommend, except for the ones already recommend by others of course, are "grow old and die young" and "broken heart of gold" I think they can both suit your taste! And if you want to check out a song a little bit more rock then maybe you should try with "I was king" or "eye of the storm" they will not disappoint you!

As a fan of ONE OK ROCK and as Japanese, I am very happy that their songs are moving the hearts of the people of the world in this way. Taka is amazing and can do anything. They did an acoustic live concert that was streamed and one of their songs they turned into a jazz song. It was like hearing all brand new songs of songs I was used to because they changed the sound so much. I cried so much I was so happy watching it lol 😆

Renegades es una excelente canción, te la recomiendo mucho. Hace dos años tuve la oportunidad de ver 3 conciertos enteros de la banda por su canal oficial y Oh por Dios! Fueron increíbles, sientes la energía de la banda a traves de la pantalla y muero de ganas de verlos en vivo. Todas sus canciones son maravillosas y con un gran mensaje.

On the contrary of many, before listening to the beginning, cry out, etc... I would recommend : "We are" But the accoustic one. Why though ? Because you'll be able to see the difference between one "normal" song of the band and one accoustic, and see that the difference is not only in the instrument. For me, accoustic songs are just as beautiful as the original one, it is in the same time similar and totally different than the original one. What I love about the Nagisaen live is because they did it around the afternoon they have more shots of the crowd. You really get a sense of how much the crowd participates in the songs.

I really appreciate you reacting to lesser known songs or performances. I think you got the right ones to start off! When you mentioned nowadays it's not usual to have emotional lyrics in rock songs I realized that's one of ONE OK ROCK's strong points musically. It does show up in older songs though, like Nobody's Home (heavily recommended). The entire Zeitakubyou album, their debut, talks about teenagers and finds strength in the opposites. For example, Naihi Shinsho is a darker sounding track, opposing to Yokubou ni Michita Seinendan or Yume Yume that are lighter and positive. Other emotional songs are Hard to Love, Good Goodbye, Heartache, Wasted Nights, Broken Heart of Gold. If you want something that hypes you up definetely go for Kanzen Kankaku Dreamer. Sorry for the long comment, usually we don't get these genuine reactions for OOR and even less with Fight the Night. We appreciate this! Thank you!
