Many years ago I worked for my college radio station and Peter came up to the station to be interviewed. He was the nicest, most genuine celebrity I ever met. He walked over to every student and said "Hi, I'm Peter Noone, nice to meet you." As the years have gone by, I have seen him in concert numerous times and will be seeing him again in 17 days. After every show, Peter signs autographs and will stay there until the last person leaves. He is the best of the best!

When Mrs. Brown first came out, I was in junior high. Our class was packed aboard a bus for a school trip. Everyone was talking and laughing and yelling. The teacher turned on a radio and this song came on. Everybody got quiet, then started singing along. The teacher was gobsmacked. When the song was over he said, “If I had known you would be quiet, I’d have turned the radio on first!” Good memory! And it is so good to see Peter again ❤

The Man is right... one of the most impressive things... Ringo was quoted in ?? 1964 ?? that he hoped to last another year, save enough money to open his own beauty salon. His dream career. And this was pretty much how all pre-Brit Invasion artists were - "We'll do this for a year, maybe 2 and then we'll die natural musical-act death." And that's often what it's like NOW-!!

The Cavern of course was the early home of the Beatles and where they were "discovered" and broke out after playing for a few years in England and Hamburg. I met Peter Noone in the early 2000's in Sugarland, TX. There was a festival called Sugarfest. Herman's Hermans was headlining act. The opening act was The Box Tops followed by The Turtles. They all gave wonderful performances. Herman's Hermits came on and Peter picked up the Turtles' set list off the stage and made a little joke about something that had been written on it. After the show, Peter was at a booth selling CDs and signing autographs. He was very kind, humble and personable.

WOW! I am genuinely impressed! Rob and Amber actually interviewing Peter Noone of Heman's Hermits, one of the BIG names in British music during the mid 1960s. I was a college student ( junior ) in 1965, and you couldn't go anywhere on campus without hearing the sounds of Dylan, the Beatles, Herman's Hermits and many others blaring from dorm windows. Music had changed in a huge way, and we didn't fully understand the ongoing effect this era would have on the future. I am close to 79, and so glad I've lived to see young people today reacting to and appreciating the music and culture of yesterday.

1967: I saw Herman’s Hermits as a 10 year old in Birmingham, Alabama (at the WVOK “Shower of Stars”), along with Eric Burden and the Animals, Sam the Sham and the Pharoahs and Paul Revere and the Raiders. Unbelievably, all the bands were staying in the same hotel that me and my parents stayed in after the concert. There was no security back then. you could walk down the halls in the hotel and see all of the musicians (just like they show in “Almost Famous”) I remember riding the elevator with several of the band members from Herman’s Hermits. Unbelievable

On July 31, 1966 My mother took all four of us kids to see Herman's Hermits and Eric Burden and The Animals in Milwaukee, Wis. I was second oldest and turned 11 later in the year, so that is why we couldn't go without mom. We were young, and my older sister was in love with Peter (and later Davey Jones of the Monkees) and relentlessly convinced my mother to take us. Looking back, it's hard to believe these two bands could be billed together. No love songs from the Animals. But I liked them both, but the Animals were more to my liking. Mom was a 45 yr old WWII veteran and pretty cool to do that for us! She liked the Beatles, and Fleetwood Mac. Thanks for bringing this back for me.

he hasn't changed a bit. He really gets into his audience. So nice. Still sounds great. Saw him a few years ago in Maine. What a great show. Go see him live.

My grandma was born in Newcastle Upon Tyne and came to the U.S. when she was a little girl. In the 1960's, she told me that the only musical group she liked was Herman's Hermits. 😊

Pretty darn amazing to watch Ed Sullivan in the day and see what we loved - our music and our groups - on a weekly basis. Now 50+ years later we know how many of them are legendary and how special so many of them became for us. Great to see and hear Peter and thanks for bringing him to us. And thanks Peter for being a part of my life.

I was Ten when I watched this. Use to sing the one liner all the time. I get a kick out of watching Peter watch himself sing 60 years ago. The Bible says life is but a vapor. It’s like dew on the grass, the Sun comes up and it’s gone. God is Good!!

I saw Peter & "Herman's Hermits" LIVE in the mid '60s at the Memorial Auditorium in Chattanooga, TN. My mom came to pick up my girlfriend & me & the Hermits were still performing. My mom got to see the rest of the concert & fell in love with Peter & thought he was absolutely adorable! I also had a huge crush on him! "Paul Revere & the Raiders" were also performing at that concert. I think there was another person or group there but I can't remember who they were! Wish I could go back to that time & know what I know now!😊

WOW!!! Guys, y’all have met British music royalty in talking with Peter Noone!! He and Herman’s Hermits were among the greatest of the GREATS!! Such a gentleman, too. He was HUGE!!! He modestly says they weren’t as big as The Beatles, but let me tell you they were very VERY big. Look up Peter Noone’s Wikipedia article and also Herman’s Hermits’ as well. if you haven’t. AWESOME!! Much love to Peter Noone!!!! Loved you, Peter, and still do!!!

One of my favourite groups growing up, when I borrowed my older brother's records. I can't believe you got him! I've heavily fangirling! I always felt so bad for the guy in the song, "Don't let on; don't say she's broke my heart."
