A little about me and this channel:
My name is James Aubrey IV and I just recently graduated college from Iowa State University. After college I decided to take a leap of faith. So I moved to San Diego California to pursue my passion for videography/ KZread. Overall I'm a pretty chill person, outside of KZread I like to longboard, dance, play video games, lift weights and hangout with my friends. I know that success on KZread won't happen overnight but I'm willing to stay patient and put in the work to try to prefect my craft daily. This KZread channel will be centered around my life after college. You will be able to see all of the ups and downs on my journey to success. What is the Rome Life ? And What does it mean to be apart of it?
Rome Life is something I started during my Sophomore year of high school (one of the worst times in my life) it started off as me documenting my journey to recovery from my shoulder surgery but eventually it turned into a platform that I could use to encourage myself as well as others to chase our dreams.
Rome Life isn't just a saying it's a way of life and for the people who want to be apart of it have to realize that. Rome wasn't built in a day it took a lot of handwork time and most importantly patience. So you can't expect your dreams to be any different

Such a cool song! love them both.
He was part of the bands The Doobie Brothers, What a Fool Believes, Minute by Minute, Takin it to the Streets he wrote and Steely Dan as well as his solo career. That soulful voice! Diets with Aretha Ever Chang Times and Pattie LaBelle On My Own was really popular. He’s very diverse and still winging.

@@wfly81 Taking it to the Streets is another good one. I enjoy the McDonald era with the Doobie's but some don't but I also enjoy them without Michael so I see both sides of the coin. Michael has had one hell of a solo career as well and by all accounts is a great guy and is nice to everybody.
The female we hear singing is Michaels sister.

Michael was in the Doobie Brothers on the backside of the 70's. Taking it to the streets-Minute by Minute-What a Fool believes-Real Love-It Keeps You Running and many more. He did some duets like On My Own with Patti Labelle, Yeah Mom Be There with James Ingram and many more.
Michael McDonald is an amazing vocalist and musician. He turns up so many places, and is outstanding always!
He has a long career with others and solo, but he also has appeared as a backup singer on endless songs.
This song was sampled to make the very popular song "Regulate" by Warren G ft Nate Dogg

The group he was part of for a number of years, The Doobie Brothers, are one of the 2020 inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It's a huge honor for the band and the individual members of the band. Though the Doobies were already extremely popular before Michael joined the group in 1976, they just exploded with him and his voice in the following albums.

I was thinking the funk organ reminded me a lot of Stevie Wonder on the keys, so I did a little digging and discovered this. I hope it was new for you as well.
I loved him and his band The Doobie Brothers since l heard their album 1975 and again in concert in LA California... I plan on going to there concert in Las Vegas...in June 2022...
