You should react to the whole segment: Paradise Not For Me - Frozen - Nobody's Perfect - Mer Girl - Sky Fits Heaven. That segment is very theatrical and it tells a story about honor, regret and death through the songs.

The Drowned World Tour was one of her best concert tours ever, it was raw, avant garde, modern and very theatrical. This whole "Geisha section" is mesmerizing.

Madonna's creative brilliance is on a whole other level than any other artists out there!! The woman is pure genius!! And that is why she is the QUEEN OF POP!!! ❤️👑

This is why I always say Madonna is simply the best ever in music history. Nobody comes close to her level of artistry. She is literally a genius.

I love this live performances and we also gotta remember that this was just 5 mins out of an over 2 hour concert she did every night for many months, not a one off TV performance for 5 mins for the Grammys or something. She kept going for another 2 hours every night haha Madonna live is always an experience.

Yeah I think confessions first THEN MDNA... because MDNA is much more of a spectacle, but in a way so is confessions but with more depth. Both definitely worth reacting to. They should really take this on board

The Re-Invention Tour is my favorite vocal performance of Frozen and you guys will love her vocals on that version. There really isn’t a good quality version for Frozen on the Sticky & Sweet tour because she sand that on the second leg of the tour and they filmed the first st leg of the tour which did not include Frozen. That is why I’d recommend Frozen from the are-Invention tour. Also my favorite Madonna live vocal is Mother & Father from the Re-Invention tour. I highly recommend that also. Love your reactions to Madonna keep it up because I do t like the other stuff you react to.

Keep going with Drowned World - still to this very moment, no one is adjacent to her absolute brilliance. This tour was her return to performing live, after 8 years, 2 albums(Ray of Light & Music) & 2 kids. Rocco was under a year old. It solidified Madonna once again as being in a league of her own, without any peers. She is truly the greatest of all time.

Donna and Niki were her backing singers for a long time and Madonna often had them out front singing and dancing along with her. They were also in the Vogue music video and in some of the performances you have seen!

Oh, you went there, mentioning her backup singers. Now I want a mini journey of Nikki and Donna performing with M. We can start with Rain from The Girlie Show Tour and then Holiday from The Drowned World Tour 😄

The concert was a masterpiece in performative art. It's worth seeing the entire concert. Also, she does have the best dancers.

Both of you had your jaws wide open from beginning to end! It was perfect. This whole segment of the Drowned World Tour is AMAZING. Probably the best out of any concert by any artist in my opinion.

I saw this tour at MSG in NYC... The stage was phenomenal!!! The costumes and hair, on point! And this segment is already 35 mins into the concert. And there's so much more of this tour and ERA that are just amazing. I remember the tabloids use to make fun of Madonna because she would sing her songs while she ran in the streets and in the gym. What they failed to understand is that Madonna was conditioning her lungs and diaphragm for tours like this. That's why no matter what she's doing, she's never out of breath and manages to stay on key.

Guys!!!! YOUR FACES!!!!!!! I've seen this performance a least 100 times since back in the day, but watching your INTENSE reaction to it, made me feel like I was watching it for the first time all over again. This is probably your BEST Madonna reaction EVER!!!!

This whole segment was amazing! Especially the 'Sky fits heaven' part. It's like a story. It's based on 'The memoirs of a geisha' film. You need to see it in full. Madonna always divides her shows in 4 acts, she likes to tell stories with her music. Every time in a totally different way than the original. Your reaction is everything!

Not surprised to see you both spellbound by this Madonna live performance. She has a creative genius for bringing together all the artistic elements to capture her enigmatic songs like Frozen, Paradise Not For Me, Nothing Really Matters, others as masterpieces of performing visual art. It’s no wonder her music video for “Bedtime Story” is exhibited and permanently kept in different art galleries and museums, including the Museum of Modern Art, and the School of Visual Arts, both in New York City.

Two songs later in that tour segment, Madonna and the dancers break into a samurai/anime fight sequence for the song Sky Fits Heaven that will leave you floored.

I totally get why you couldn’t stop watching. This was by far the best part of the entire show, I was literally gagged when this happened. You did see Japanese characters on the floor 😉

The presentation for this segment was simply…. cinematic.

I knew you would enjoy this one! It's epic. The S&S version is very cool but very different from the original version. The only tour version that's really faithful to the album mix is the Re-Invention Tour. The vocals are good but it's not very interesting visually compared to the other performances. The focus is on her performance. Madonna's backup singers (particularly Donna and Niki, who performed with her for many years) have always been an integral part of her shows, like characters. Lots of interaction and involvement, which is very cool. I think the song you'll be most impressed by in terms of "reinvention" is "Like a Virgin." I don't think she's ever performed that song the same way twice. I'm very curious to see if/how she does it in her upcoming tour. It's not my favorite song (and it's not hers either) but it's always cool to see what she does with it.

The brilliance that this woman has delivered to pop culture for going on 5 decades now is just lost on too many people. It's cool to see younger people who didn't grow up with her actually get her and appreciate her. This is one of my favorite shows of hers. Not only is this performance visually stunning, but this tour also contains some of her best vocals. This is hands down the best Frozen even though the Madame X one with her daughter is wonderful too.

The back-up singers/performers are Donna de Lory and Nikki Harris, the best Madonna support for many many years in tours, award appearances and music videos! It's a pitty that Madonna doesn't have them in her team any more... By the way, you should watch the entire segment of this tour because each song is a part of a small story, and the whole tour segment was inspired by the movie "Tiger and Dragon". Madonna is the definition of Art! ❤❤❤❤❤

Someone may have already pointed this out to but, the Geisha/Ninja section of the show has a narrative like a theatrical piece. Paradise (not for me) Is the video introduction and shows her being dressed as a Geisha for her master. The clothes are very tight like bondage. Frozen She displeases her master and threatens her with his sword. Nobodys Perfect She goes down on her knees and begs her master for forgiveness. He will not and using his sword cuts off her ponytail. Seen as a real punishment for a Geisha Mer Girl/Sky fits heaven I do not want to spoil this part for you cause its a kicker. Safe to say she is a woman scorned, and like they say there is nothing to fear more than a woman scorned! ❤❤❤

It was a lot of fun for me watching your reactions to this one because it was real and it's the way us fans were at the time in the audience. There are so many angles that you can take in your appreciation of Madonna. For me it comes down to her value system. The people she has around her, and it's always been this way, it doesn't matter what ethnicity or religion anyone is, it's about talent. To me Madonna presents a kind of utopia where black and asian and gay and trans-- she's usually the only white person on stage except for Donna. Her values and the world she presents and the freedom and the creativity. Women and men are equals, and she works hard for everything she has... in all honesty she's like the best mom you could want, but for the world. Even the brat she was when she was younger, she had to be that way to get the power she did. But what do you do with your power? You inspire.
