First time hearing Luke Combs, Forever after all
Luke Combs has been one of our most requested s. Alexis chose Forever After All as my introduction to his music even though the track has been out for a few years. What struck me about Luke is his great writing and story telling ability and when you package that with his singing, I now understand why his name is as well known as it is. He is truly an amazing talent.

I ran into Luke and his wife at a bar in Key West and they stood there and just talked to us for 15-20 minutes just like regular people. Wasn’t a big fan of his until that interaction but for him just to be a regular person off stage with people he doesn’t know made me a fan.

Luke married his wife in 2020, they've been together for several years. A lot of people say she got with him "for the money" but they actually met in 2016, before he was famous. The video scenes of the wedding were from their actual wedding. Love the videos! Keep em coming!

Luke Combs is one of the few "newer" country artists that I can appreciate for genuinely being himself and not getting caught up in the glamor of it all. He's the real deal. Another great reaction guys...keep it up.

He wrote three songs about his now wife: “Beautiful Crazy”- for their early dating and the beginnings of their relationship “Better Together”- Him proposing and getting engaged “Forever After All”- The wedding and their marriage

This song is the song i played on guitar and sang to my beautiful wife after our wedding when we were alone. weve been together for 4 years married for 4 months come the 17th were 24 and 25. they way luke cried when he saw her was the same way i did she looked so beautiful. this song holds a special place in my heart and i cry every time i play it thank you so much for reacting to it!

I love how Luke’s songs sometimes have a line that just gives a little more meaning or feeling that gives a little bit more. This one has towards the end “and I know there’ll be that moment the good lord calls one of us home and one won’t have the other by there side”. Also in where the wild things are
I think I enjoy this channel so much because I relate to both of you. I'm a hard rock guy from the 80s who listens to country.

You two are the real deal. I've watched several reaction video's with different people and you are hands down the best so far. It would be nice to see your reaction to Hardy's song Mocking bird. I believe both of you would enjoy it. Thanks for the awesome reactions and keep up the great work.

@@flickeringboxofficial Thanks for the response. The song is actually called The Mockingbird and the Crow I just shortened the title cuz I got lazy with my typing. Hardy is an awesome song writer as he has written/co-written songs for some big names.

Was a big country fan in the end of the 90's / beginning of 2000's.. Then I have a break. Not appreciate the pop turn of country music. But Combs bring me back in the game and make me love modern country 👌🤠 Auch a great artist and this song is awesome 🤟
The big records were made from vinyl (1948+) LP 33 & 1/3 (12 inch) 78s were an older format made from shellac 10inch (circa1901) (10 inch)

Luke combs did 4 songs for his now wife. Beautiful crazy (the proposal song), loving on you, better together and forever after all. Luke performed this song at his wedding reception for his wife. I love the 3rd but short refrain, when he sings about the good lord takes one of us away and one will be without, but then continues with but heaven knows that wont last to long maybe something last after all, as in when they me in heaven they will still be in love

Even though Luke is probably my favorite country singer out there I think you guys would love Thomas Rhett… 1) because he is an amazing storyteller with so much emotion in his songs but also 2) because he is the son of Rhett and I think it would be so cool seeing two different generations in that context!
He wrote that song specially for the wedding.
I absolutely recommend his song, "Doin This".

I love country/country rock ( and a huge fan of hair metal as well). The 80's were a musical growing up period for me. I have just discovered a guy called Corey Marks who is very much country - but the album I have is 'Who I Am?'. Very much a mix of rock and country. For the rockier side check out the song 'Outlaws and Outsiders' or for the more country side 'Drive'. There is also a brilliant duet on there with Lzzy Hale (Halestorm) called 'Out In the rain'.
They got engaged right before he released Beautiful Crazy as a single.

@@flickeringboxofficial they are a really awesome Texas band that has done some really great covers from phill Collins to areosmith that song just happens to be one of their originals. They are from Palestine Texas not far from where I grew up
