basically if it’s not drums, vocals or guitar, and you can hear it, John Paul Jones is responsible, he plays like 30 instruments to an insane level, i do not want to imagine a Led Zeppelin without JPJ

JPJ is so much more than just the GREATEST BASS PLAYER EVER. Jimmy Page said JPJ is the most naturally talented musician of the 4 Of them. Let that sink in for a minute. And plays the 30 or so instruments the other gentleman mentioned. And played on 60+ #1 hits BEFORE Led Zeppelin as a session musician. And then produced some defining albums in the ‘90’s

All 4 members are individual masters of their art put together in one band aka Best Rock N Roll Band ever!!!
Dive in. Led Zeppelin is the greatest rock band of all time!
I saw Robert Plant when he was 63. He was so powerful. I was already a massive Zeppelin fan so it made it even better. He was singing with another band he was with at the time and about halfway through started singing some zeppelin songs. I almost cried and wet myself at the same time. I’ll never forget it.
This is one where John Paul Jones is playing Hammond organ. This has been put in the Top 100 Guitar Solos of all time by Guitar magazines in the US and UK. In Germany, "Sounds" magazine called it the 16th best song of all time.
Everything stems from the Blues, and this is a masterclass🤘
Watch this live. It’s phenomenal. Robert Plant owns the stage.
Many of their songs were inspired by or covers of blues songs.

This is by far my favorite song of all time, the full emotion of the song hits me every time.
all i gotta day is if you want to pause...pause it 7 seconds after you first think to...either you absorb the music and get lost and simply forget the pause...or you do pause and reflect how how it just changed your mood as a whole 👌👍
I think I found my band, I hope they got a lot of songs. LOL
Right off the bat, from first exposure, you appreciate every member and their contributions.,. That's commendable.
This is the only band that I love EVERY single song they have ever done and their catalogue is abundant.
Led Zeppelin is Bad Ass
You really should also watch the live version of this at MSG 1973. Mind blowing performance! Every Zeppelin performance is different. They are totally Blues based.
Woo! Zep is pure gold. Love the reactions. Every song people are shouting out are all worth doing.Their first four albums are: Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin II, Led Zeppelin III, and Led Zeppelin IV...every single track is fire. Next albums were Houses of the Holy and Physical Graffiti....just as amazing.
Your performance in this reaction gets 4 yesses from the judges :=)

I'd like to nominate this reaction for Reaction of The Year please.
You're excitement is contagious. I've listened to Zep for ever and you're reminding me of the first time I ever heard them and how blown away I was.
When I discovered Led Zeppelin. every other band took a back seat for a while. I became almost obsessed with them. and if you start your way from the first album and work your way to the last you can see their journey and growth as a band. there first six albums are there best. the last two albums they started to slip a little bit. but still some good songs.
Dig the rock star look. Try Achilles Last Stand.

This song, like most Zeppelin songs, are made for live performances. This song is Led Zeppelin. The blues with their stamp on it. They had a unique sound and interpretation of the blues. Spot on reaction! Especially about Bonham’s drums. He crushed those drums and he is thought by many to have been the heart of LZ as is shown by them choosing to disband when he died.
I just bought a huge collection of classic rock LP's to sell and my son took ALL of the Zeppelin Albums!!
I bought this album when I was 14 for $.25. In 1979 I put it on and changed my life into this day is still my favorite. Led Zeppelin is the pinnacle of music. I had a ticket in hand to see them in 1980 unfortunately bonzo passed. I was so close to seeing the greatness
Babe I’m gonna leave you is their next best song

Heartbreaker straight into living loving maid.
I am 52 and grew up on this stuff. Daddy liked to rock n roll. He took me to my first concert when I was 8. It was Blue Oyster Cult.
And you have found your band!! 😂 they’re so good because all four of them are masters individually at what they do. Jimmy Page is the one though, the mastermind behind it all I’d say.
Hey Van, you gotta check out their movie "The Song Remains The Same". It's live concert footage from their 1973 MSG show. Great stuff...but then again, everything they did was great stuff.
Dude the live version they did of this is literally one of the best performances I’ve ever seen of any group.
Watching you discover Led Zeppelin is the greatest! My favorite band of all time! Loving this!!! In my opinion, this is their best song ever!
I can't wait to know what you watched The Song Remains The Same - by Led Zeppelin... Live concert and see Jimmy Page play the guitar with a violin stick for Dazed And Confused... Legendary!!! 🔥🔥🔥
No Quarter Live in MSG 1973, Jimmy has a monster solo. A must hear. Also Achilles Last Stand studio version will blow you freaking mind brother!!
you found your band. and its mine too. a deep rabbit hole!
Ok, you said it. The live stuff indoors is from a movie! Its called the song remains the same. It has theatrics that lend to each personality. There's also a back story to the movie about illegal shirts and pirate goods that happen at the show, in Madison Square garden. Good movie to sit and watch .
This was recorded live in the studio with little overdubbing and I believe the guitar solo was recorded in one take. Led Zeppelin was considered hard rock/heavy blues however they played several different styles. They had 9 albums which means over 100 songs. Zeppelin has a very strong fan base so if you're going to dig in, we will be here.

Welcome to the Zeppelin rabbit hole, I was lucky enough to see them live twice. This was my band still is, try Ramble On, Dazed & Confused, Going to California, Lemon song. Just so many songs, you are right, they are also the blues.
The live version of this song is an EXPERIENCE that you must not miss...😊
Been my favorite band for 50 years Rock on 🤘
Welcome to the world of Zeppelin life will never be the same
You're right brother. You've found the GOATS! I listen to all the others, great in their own right. LZ is special, on another level. Check this out live, I think MSG, mind-blowing, life changing, epic!
Yes, Led Zepp is bluesy. Preach it brother. Having church up in here. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Another British blues-based rock band is Ten Years After. My favorites are 1)Good Morning Little School Girl, 2) 50,000 Miles Outside My Brain, and 3) Love Like A Man.
"No quarter" "the ocean"
I absolutely love that you love Led Zep! Soooo, this is gonna be a long one, but a list of Zep's songs I would recommend (alphabetically, really bluesy/soulful in CAPS, must hear in *bold* ): Achilles' Last Stand; All My Love; *BABE IM GONNA LEAVE YOU* ; BABY COME ON HOME; Battle of Evermore; *BLACK COUNTRY WOMAN* ; *BRING IT ON HOME* ; Celebration Day; Communication Breakdown; THE CRUNGE; *CUSTARD PIE* ; Dancing Days; For Your Life; Four Sticks; *GALLOWS POLE* ; GOING TO CALIFORNIA; Good Times, Bad Times; HATS OFF TO (ROY) HARPER; *Heartbreaker* ; *HOW MANY MORE TIMES* ; *I CAN'T QUIT YOU BABY* ; *In The Evening* ; *IN THE LIGHT* ; *THE LEMON SONG* ; Moby Dick; *NOBODY'S FAULT BUT MINE* ; *NO QUARTER* ; The Ocean; Over the Hills and Far Away; THE RAIN SONG; *Ramble On* ; Rock and Roll; The Rover; The Song Remains the Same; TANGERINE; TEA FOR ONE; *TEN YEARS GONE* ; THANK YOU; Trampled Under Foot; The Wanton Song; WHAT IS AND WHAT SHOULD NEVER BE; *YOU SHOOK ME*
Totally the Blues. They loved the old black Musicians. That's where they got their stuff from..
Check out "Since I've Been Loving You - Live at Madison Square Gardens 1973" It's just glorious!
Glad the younger generation are finding out their back catalogue enjoy, "I'm gonna crawl" is a late rhythm and blues classic.
Your reaction is exactly my reaction when I first heard Zeppelin!!! :D You really just have to stand in awe of their musical prowess.
Start with their first album and keep on going. You are about to embark on a mystickal magickal journey. HEADPHONES A MUST. Then, you need to check out their reunion tour London O2. They are in their late 60's then and still killing it!
Yeah,I feel it, been listening to zep for 30 years.
Did you hear John Bonham's drum pedal squeaking at the beginning of the song. He got a lot of stick for it but they left it in
This is music , and it help's to have a lil grass ect , to really get the feel , Not that I ever have :) Great reaction my friend ,, The Texas Gent
This is my all time favorite LZ song, listen close in the beginning and you can hear the pedal from the bass drum squeaking I love that they didn’t redo that

YESSSSSSSS!!! Finallllllyyyyy! Finally I know that someone else heard that too! LOL those are those hundreds of infinitesimal little things that puts the polish on their music and stacks them at the top of all time. You'll never see 4 virtuosos in the same band again. Ever.
The live version of this from Madison Square Garden is worth a watch. I like it more than the album.
I want you to see both of the songs you did today's live versions. Since I've been loving you 1973 at MSG and in my time of dying 1975 at Earl's court
It is so fun for us old people to watch you young people discover the greatness of Led Zeppelin!
PLEASE do the LIVE version! You’ll be BLOWN away!!! 💙✌️
How many more times, no quarter, the rover, ten years gone...I could just say their whole catalog, zeppelin is my favorite band of all time, no contest since I was little and my dad indtroduce me to them very young,, he is a huge zeppelin fan
This is a MUST see and listen LIVE!!! Sooo much more to it! 💙✌️
Aye that is Robert ,he sings lead on every Zep song .. ..You mention catalog and 1st to last album is the best way to hear the real progression
They also have a fantastic acoustic back catalogue as well, well worth checking that stuff out it's beautiful!
The live version on the album " Song Remains the Same " is powerful and displays the band at its zenith when they were indestructible !!! MAGIC
Misty Mountain Hop - this Zep song is in my will to be played at my funeral ❤️
The Song Remains the Same/ The Rain Song live at MSG will take you on a journey like no other
Welcome to the rabbit hole that is Led Zeppelin. I'm 58 and have been a fan since a kid. Their music transcends genres from rock to blues (like you just heard) to rockabilly to metal. They did it all. Enjoy the journey!
Watching you listen to this for the first time is like taking somebody to the beach for the first time.
Good times bad times, rock and roll, ramble on. Great songs by them.
This is my favorite Led Zeppelin song, which puts it high in my ranking of best songs ever. I think this song (along with The Beatles' "I Want You") epitomize and exemplify the theatrics, dramatics,, and dynamics of British pomp with the grit, soulfulness, and bluesiness of early 20th Century southern black music. And that makes it a perfect song, IMO.
You won't believe how pleasing it is to see another person falling in love Zeppelin. JPJ plays the keyboards, bass, and who knows what else. In his spare time he was a music arranger for other bands, acts, or movies.
John paul jones, keyboard work, and this song was inspired by the heavens, it was frigging phenomenal. And that's why this band is one of the best of all Time. Each member was great, and then when you put them alltogether. You have 4 of the best musicians at their instrument of all time making music together. So naturally, you come up with Led Zeppelin.🙌🙌🙌were not worthy
Gotta rock the Open shirt for Led Zeppelin!!!! 🎸
Jimmy P was fearless and delved into the realm of the abyss of soul, blues without abandon leading with his heart followed by his fingertips
Check out "Moby Dick" (John Bonham solo) Live bro, it'll blow your mind! There was and never will be a band that had the magic these 4 had!
Told you that you entered a deep rabbit hole! There is no way out! Dude, thank you for this!
Sooo many killer Zep tunes because each member is a genius at their craft. They MAKE great music. Listening to a reaction from someone with subject matter experience is fun. You get the nuances. Once your past Roberts vocals and John's drumming you'll discover the brilliance of John-Paul Jones (bass, keys, mandolin). He is spectacular. A drum reactionary here on YT said Bonham's drumming isn't in the pocket. But a "filthy, dirty pocket". The ultimate compliment. My favorite Zep tune: Kashmir.
You have to watch this live at MSG above anything else! 🙌
An amazing grouping of four talented guys who worked well together. Such a tight sound. Plenty of diversity in the catalog, mostly electric blues and hard rock, but folky acoustic stuff and experimental stuff as well. An influence on so many bands. They had a few misses and some people may not like everything in the catalog, but they ruled the '70s when rock radio was king.
“🎼Ohh baby, baby, baby”... your in a rabbit hole now! 🎹🎸🥁🎤
Great reaction man 👍 So cool that you're just discovering them now. After Led Zeppelin there was no turning back for me. They are one of the greatest ✌ Oh yeah.. I loved your church singing too. Hilarious! 🤣
Some think they are the GOAT... some know 😉 Blues had a baby and they named it... If this is your band, welcome home🤗
