John Mayer is a generational talent on the guitar. You may not like his music, or him as a person. But denying that he shreds, is denying that the sun rises

Well he didn't shred so much in this song, but in I Don't Need No Doctor, he definitely did

Edge of desire and covered in rain (live in Birmingham) are two of my favorites, though they change from week to week. So many to choose from!

Such a good song man how on earth he just came up with the tuning and came up with it is incredible, really hard to learn but once you’ve got it it’s sick. There’s a video on KZread of a band putting drums over it which is cool

Brilliantly written, both musically and lyrically. "The 10 and the 2 is the loneliest sight...", not only referring to Interstate HWY I-10 and State Route 2 which both run through LA, but also to the idea of having both hands on the wheel at the 10 and 2 positions, which means that at least one hand is not on her. Absolutely brilliant writing, as so many of his songs repeatedly demonstrate.

Eric Clapton admits that John Mayer has mastered the guitar… and Eric Clapton was known literally as “god” in the 60’s when it came to guitar…I’m not joking that was his nickname

Eric Clapton is a phenomenal guitarist. He didn't call himself god did he?

Hey, How bout Neon?? The awesome opening to that concert. What more can you ask for for in an acoustic opening? lol. You'll see what Im talking about when you watch it.

just to touch on a couple things about the whole past mistakes thing all he did was make a couple of bad jokes that wernt in good taste morgan wallen did the same thing a couple years back they tried to cancel him but that only made him break records in sales people really need to get over some jokes
