Black Sabbath and Deep purple just said their farewell. AC/DC if Brian Johnson wont get better quit too. And Bruce Dickinson from IM just fought with throat cancer. So don't wait one amazing era of 70's-80's greatest metal will be over soon. :(

IM FROM LOS ANGELES AND THE CHEAPEST TICKET WAS $300 .BUT WELL WORTH IT...FIRST SAW THEM IN LONG BEACH 1985 I WAS 15 THEY STILL SOUND JUST AS GOOD AND IM 51..."UP THE IRONS" ...

Next Maiden song has to be Rime of the Ancient Mariner.....13 mins of PURE Perfection. Yes they are still touring. Seeing them on the 20th of Sept in Dallas.

I'm seeing them in a couple weeks in Las Vegas on September Friday the 13th. Been to every US tour they've been on and was in Rio 2001 for the Rock in Rio show.

Honestly I didn't request Iron Maiden from you, because I was sure that you know all their songs. I'm stunned. But! The good news is that all of their songs are golden from the '80s. And they have a lot more still, since then as well . So you have some 70+ amazing songs to choose from. It's weird to think that I used to listen to Maiden in school with my mates, in the late '80s. And now here you are starting a very long but beautiful journey with one of my all time favorite bands. Basically you are set for at least the next 2 years, with content. They are that good. Enjoy!

YES!! AT LAST! Now keep in mind Nightwish is ma favorite band of all time...however, Iron Maiden is just a classic. I saw them live in Montreal once..so damn good, I was just lost in a trance of music. I highly recommend Aces High and Run to the Hills!

They had a few albums with their original vocalist, Paul Di'Anno, including their amazing album, Killers. The title track is incredible but you have to check out "Wrathchild" and "Murders in the Rue Morgue."

They are still going, I am seeing them in a few weeks. Should try "Hallowed be thy name". The live version is amazing.

The album Powerslave alone supplies 6 classics: aces high, 2 minutes to midnight, the duelists, flash of the blade, powerslave and rhime of the ancient mariner.

If you're on the west coast or in Texas you might still be able to catch them if you act fast, they are currently on a North American tour and that's where the remaining dates are. And if it's not sold out of course. Who knows if it will be their last, since they're in their 60's. But they have said they have no current plans to retire.

Yup, Maiden (and Priest) are still touring. And both still kick ass. Maiden's vocalist, Bruce Dickinson is one of the best live performers there is. He's 61 and never standing still. Always running, jumping, getting the crowd hyped. You also should put his solo stuff onto your todo list, because it's pretty great as well. I recommend starting that journey with Accident Of Birth or Tears Of The Dragon (live with Tribuzi).

Bruce Dickinson is a vocal god right up there with Rob Halford of Judas priest, and Ronnie James Dio. My personal fav from Maiden is Rime of the Ancient Mariner. If you react to that song, please get the lyrics, your welcome.
