Everlast was a BEAST back then, and unlike a lot of rappers, he was the kind of thug that most rappers claim to be. He refused to have bodyguards, he regularly got into brawls, and frequently deemed guns to be the cowards weapon. He had a great run with HoP, but left after getting tired of going on constant tours. He only got bigger after he started a solo career, and regularly joined up with underground groups like La Coka Nostra, Warporn Industries, Dialated Peoples, and others. Check out: EVERLAST - I Get By LA COKA NOSTRA - Bloody Sunday WARPORN INDUSTRIES - Dazed

Apparently, the street footage in the video is from the NYC St. Patrick's Day Parade in 1992. Judging from the apparent context of the entire video, it looks as if everything beyond the Cathedral/Funeral scene at the beginning thereof represents sort of a "Most Classic East-Coast-Famous 20th-Century Irish Wake Evaaaaaaah" scene, apparently all in Memory of Matt Champy (1970-1992). And I'll agree with the one who first said it: You can never have too much of the Great Irish/Hibernian Warpipe [or Great Highland Bagpipe, as you wish, for all of you Caledonian purists out there, by God]; And I'm barely even English by ancestral comparison, let alone Scottish, and much less even Irish: But, Hoo-boy, do those Marching Pipes [and Drums] sure make the Rap on this one; I can tell you. IMHO, FWIW: This entire music video by HOP will keep on selling itself to the world exactly as it is, until Kingdom Come, Or the Fall of the Republic -- Whichever comes first. 🤠🤠🤠 🥳🥳🥳 🥸🥸🥸 🤪🤪🤪

Correct. People don't realize that Muggs was THE BOSS of Cypress Hill and House Of Pain. He was like a DJ Prince. He wanted to give this beat to Cypress Hill but it sounded too much like "Insane In The Brain" (which they were already working on) so he gave it to House Of Pain. He's also the reason B-Real rapped the way he did. He told him that if he didn't find a cool way to rap he's just be writing rhymes for Sen Dog.

I didn't catch Muggs was as involved as he was, even if Lethal and Muggs were part of that whole Soul Assassins thing. I mean House of Pain, Cypress Hill, and I believe Funkdoobiest (sp?) were three groups involved with the Soul Assassins... and I think Psycho Realm later on. Muggs was the leader of the beats, but each group had their own DJ. Muggs was DJing for Cypress though.

House of Pain was an American hip hop trio that released three albums in the 1990's. They had a strong fan base in Ireland due to their unique cultural identity and catchy music. In 1992 "House of Pain" released their hit single "Jump Around" which became an instant hit with pop fans and drunken college kids. lol This song was a rowdy juvenile party anthem that was widely used in film soundtracks. The song's screeching and dogmatic chorus was an instant win with millions and shows no sign of retreating after 30+ years. Here's another style of music to give a listen, if interested. "Red Hot Chili Peppers - Californication (Official Music Video) [HD UPGRADE]" (by the channel: Red Hot Chili Peppers) - Red Hot chili Peppers are an American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California. The bands founding members are Anthony Kiedis (vocals), Flea (bassist), Chad Smith (drummer), and John Frusciante (guitarist). Their music incorporates elements of alternative rock, punk rock, hard rock, hip hop and psychedelic rock. Their eclectic range influenced many genres of music. I look forward to hearing what you think. 🤔 I enjoyed your reaction. Thanks for sharing. peace out~

The singer is of Italian decent. Most of the parade scenes in the video are from the 1992 St. Patrick's Day parade in NYC. The "Celtics" basketball team is named after the "language family" of old Ireland. The reason the video is Irish-themed is because the single it was released on was called "Fine Malt Lyrics," and was overall Irish-themed. Even House of Pain's logo is inspired by logos commonly associated with Irish pubs.

It is played at every NBA, NHL, MLB, NFL, and esp NCAA Wisonsin football game, out there they even have a special time out and the whole 80 thousand people in the crowd start jumping around and singing along with this song. That and since it has came out, it is still played in every club strip club, wedding party, proms, movies, and video games.
