One of the best male singers of recent times, Guy had broken countless records in the Australian music industry and was our first ever representative at Eurovision Song Contest. So many great Guy Sebastian songs out there. He is an amazingly, talented singer/ songwriter. Also a winner of Australian Idol. More Guy Sebastian please! His song Believer will tug on your heart strings. You are going to fall in love with Guy.

Guy is just brilliant! One of only a few winners of these talent shows to go on a make a solid and impressive career! He is so talented...and that voice!!

Guy has stated his early musical influences were Stevie Wonder, Prince, Brian McKnight, Otis Redding and Al Green. You should check out his song Believer that he sang live on the Voice, it's about his wife, and its beautiful.

Guy is from my hometown of Adelaide, South Australia. A lot of his musical influence comes from his church connections and their style of music.

Australia's had the same talent shows as most places, Australian Idol, The X Factor, The Voice, Australia's Got Talent. So there's been, I guess about 30 or more winners in total over the years. Along with many more runner ups, and other contestants that still got a recording contract. But Guy Sebastian is still, IMO, the best singer that's ever emerged from these TV talent competitions. He's now an icon in Australian music.

He is a fantastic singer and songwriter. This performance was from his home during Covid lockdowns To entertain us when there were no concerts. Many singers gave these home concerts to help keep our spirits up during Covid.

You guys have to react to his hit "Standing With You Tonight". You won't regret it.

I have seen Guy in concert in Cairns, North Queensland twice now. He puts on a great show. Can sing!!!!!!! He surrounds himself with some pretty good musicians as well. He comes across as a really nice bloke.

Guy is a great artist. His music is characterised by his vocal runs which are stunning. When he started out, he kind of overdid the runs but as he has matured he has modified them. His songs are heartfelt and in that respect he is like John Farnham … singing with passion. His latest single “Antidote” is stunning. His album TRUTH features his best songs IMO including Choir, Standing With You, Believer and Who I Love. You’ll enjoy his vocal ability and delivery and his live performances are brilliant.

Guy was part of the then called Paradise Church in Adelaide from where Planetshakers started as a conference, and then started as a church in Melbourne, and then started some international churches as well.

He started out in his church choir in his teens, then became a primary school music/ singing teacher. Then at 19 he went on Australian Idol the 1st ever year. Totally blew everyone away. Hes actually gotten better at singing since then. This sing is one of his best singles to listen to with Lupe Fiasco rapping the 1st 2 verses in it. There's several Medleys out there to watch, check them out, or the video clip for this one.

Guys brother Chris is also a great singer and has won the voice Australia.. guy was a coach at the same time Chris won..as soon as he heard his brother he knew it was him singing.. they are close, it was very emotional. There is clip on you tube that shows it

Some fun facts about Guy He was the first winner of Australian Idol. He's done work in the US, but is probably most famous for his vocal work and acoustic guitar. He was the first Australian entrant into Eurovision, where he ranked so high many believe it's why we were invited back despite not being a European country. Two comedians wrote an awful song about coconuts that he sung to producers as a prank, and it became so popular that he still performs it live sometimes.
