Great reaction. The lead singer is Damon Albarn, who is also the lead singer of the band Blur, one of my favourite bands. I love most of the music Damon is involved in, he is such a talented musician.
Lead singer is Damon Albarn. The actual band members are Stuart Pot aka 2D, he's the guy on the wheelchair. Drummer is Russel, the guy watching the tv (he used to be possesses by Del the Ghost Rapper who was gunned down by the Grim Reaper and his gang, if you heard Clint Eastwood, Del is the rapper) Murdoc, the bassist (n the red robes), kidnapping 2D and running him over with his car twice are possibly the least heinous things he's done, and Noodle, the guitarist, who was trained as a child to be a super soldier in Japan and subsequently mailed to Kong Studios in a fed ex crate, being named after the one English word she did speak when she met the band (she replaced Paula Cracker, 2D's ex g/f, gee, I wonder if 2D is still hung up on her?) And if you're gonna watch this, you GOTTA watch Silent Running next. Seriously. :)
2D's voice is Damon Albarn! You might know him from Blur. And yes, the funky hallucination guy is Thundercat I don't search for the meaning of Gorillaz' lyrics and always go with my own interpretation, so i can't answer what the song is about in the creator's mind What i CAN say is that there are literal cults happening in the lore so that might have something to do with it lol
