He made this video because there are a lot of haters who say it only works in the studio and he got in the car with his cell phone and played the instrumental and sang without any editing. I can recommend, Run to you, All by myself, Oh holy night (I know it's a Christmas song, but it's a journey) my heart will go on, everything you will react to of his is next level. LOVED your reaction! Your excitement is infectious!!!! Gay-Briel En-Hee-Kee is a self taught singer from Brazil. He started singing at 6yrs old in the church with his father. He refined his technique from listening to Whitney and Mariah. He learned the English covers phonetically but is just now learning to speak in English. You will notice an improvement in his pronunciation as he progressed. Most of his Portugese covers are worship songs and incredibly moving and beautiful. As of late some haters on KZread have tried to discredit him by saying his voice is enhanced by post production. In return he did a short series of covers singing in a parked car with just a track playing to prove his vocal ability and they are amazing! My fave is I Want To Know What Love Is (Mariah Carey) version in which he holds a sustained whistle that has to be seen to be believed. I look forward to many more reactions from you. Fun reaction. You’re like a kitten on speed! Gabriel has so many great covers. Check out his “I Want to Know What Love Is” or “All by Myself”. Steer clear of the car versions unless you start to wonder whether his covers are hyper-produced. Btw, “O Holy Night” is, as others say, wonderful but it should be saved for Christmas, right?
