I was at a Foo Fighters concert where Dave fell off the stage and broke his leg. But the concert didn’t end there. He went to the hospital, and in the meantime, the rest of the band entertained the crowd. Later, he came back, sat down on a chair with a guitar in his hands, and finished the concert. That shows the dedication this band has to their fans.

But, you know, everyone's been fucked over before and I think a lot of people feel fucked over right now and they're not getting what they were promised, and so something to do with that." As you say, still speaks to today.

Rich people don't want lockdowns, they want everyone back at work making money for them whether it costs people their lives or not. The only reason the state is mandating restrictions is because they don't want it getting out of control and threatening economic stability, not because they care about people (or there'd be more support to help people do the right thing). Nope, Kurt wasn't as good a singer. He was an artist that had a voice that encapsulated a time. But his contemporaries we're much better singers. Eddie Vedder, Chris Cornell, Scott Weiland, Ed Roland, even Dave Grohl were all more talented vocalists than Kurt. What Kurt had was a feeling, his voice carried all the angst of youth and a sadness beyond his years. You could feel what he felt when he sang. But god damn songs like lake of fire sound like nails on a chalk board.

What I get from this: In intelligence tests, one of the lower level types of questions is to show several items and say, "One of these things is not like the others" and ask you to identify it. Society pushes us to be just like certain patterns, and is sadly successful at it. "Be like this, not like your real self. Don't think independently, don't be your unique self, but follow and do as you're told." The protagonist refuses and chooses to think and act independently, "not like the others." He defies the efforts to mold him into a cog in the machine. But by the end, he's saying, what if I told you YOU'RE not like the others? Try that on. What would it be like to say and do what you really believe? To be your real authentic self? It's an invitation.

I'm only 1:12 mins into this vid but I HAVE to comment right now.... I LOVE the way you chose to cover the music vid with a pic!!! It's PERFECT🤗 and a GREAT compromise for those of us who REALLY want you to see the actual music vids!! Hopefully it will help keep your reactions from getting blocked/"striked"!! GREAT JOB guys!! Thanks for making the effort!! 😘 K now, back to your reaction!!😁❤ SIDE NOTE: I'm sure others have told but just in case.... the lead singer here is DAVE freaking GROHL!!! He was the drummer for Nirvana.... he started this band after Kurt Cobain's suicide.... DAVE GROHL and The FOO FIGHTERS ROCK!!! P.S... the drummer is Taylor Hawkins, he's an amazing singer as well AND>>> he does one hell of a Freddie Mercury!!

Foo Fighters is a whole rabbit hole. Definitely worth digging deeper into this one. Some other favorites of mine would be Everlong, Walk (the music video is hilarious), Best of You, All My Life, My Hero, Sky is a Neighborhood, and These Days.

One of the best musicians to ever take the stage. Singer, songwriter, performer, entertainer, drummer, guitarist, producer. He does it all. He was the reason I liked Nirvana.

Dave Grohl, the lead singer, was the drummer for Nirvana. He wasn't an original member, but joined in 1990 a year before they released the album Nevermind and became insanely popular. He was their drummer until Nirvana disbanded after Kurts passing in 1994. That same year he would form Foo Fighters. I'm not a fan of Screamo or screaming in Metal, but I definitely enjoy this style of screaming or growl (whatever you call it lol) in Alt/Grunge/Indie Rock and Dave Grohl's is easily one of my favorites. Highly recommend reacting to "Everlong" by The Foo Fighters. Dave Grohl's guitar riff in it is one of the most addicting sounds I've ever heard. Very first riff I learned to play too
