This is one of the greatest songs ever made. The lyrics are simple, universal, and evocative. In live performances from those days you can see the emotion pouring out of them. The instrumentation is easy to listen to and fun.

That is one of the most iconic rock lp covers there ever was or is. I have a tshirt with that cover on on it that i bought off the rack at a popular mall store recemtly.

Lindsey and Stevie were going through a break up that was affecting the band. They wrote this song about what they were experiencing at the time.

If you haven't already, treat yourself to both, The Chain & Sara 😎 Ps, a couple of musts to react to... The guy in Boney M is completely off the chart and "Bonkers" when he dances, how he doesn't dislocate every bone in his body beggars belief Band.... Boney M Songs... Sunny, Rasputin, Ma Baker, Mary's born child, Rivers of Babylon, Brown girl in the ring, Daddy Cool... These are their best songs by far, this band were humongous worldwide in their day The coolest singer by far Bryan Ferry... Songs... Love is the Drug, Avalon, This is tomorrow, Angel eyes, Slave to Love, A hard rains-a-gonna fall, jealous guy 😎

The Drummer, Mick Fleetwood, is the chap on the cover along with singer Stevie Nicks (and they are NOT brother and sister). For some reason, from 1974 to 1984(?), Mick always wore that belt which consisted of the drawstrings with the two wooden balls. In his 1982 Modern Drummer magazine interview, he mentions never going anywhere without wearing "them" for superstitious reasons. Probably a totem-istic kinda deal happening there. After this album (and pic), he and Stevie did have a fling (Mick: "We were very much in love") but kept it private and without the Press finding out until Mick released his book in the 90s detailing it. Yes, this song was used in a lame commercial a few years ago.

Also, John (Bass) & Christine McVie (keyboards/vocal) were married. Stevie Nicks (vocal) and Lindsey Buckingham (guitar/vocal) were a couple.

This is one of the few songs that I like by this Fleetwood Mac lineup. Mick Fleetwood's drumming makes the song for me. The guitar work is nice too. I still prefer Fleetwood Mac with Peter Green though.

Yes, a cover of this song is used in a drug commercial - recently. But it is a classic, and a live performance is as good or better than this studio version: kzread.info/dash/bejne/o4KBmKuucZudlbA.html (Fleetwood Mac - Go Your Own Way - Dance Tour '97) Yes the percussion is exceptional - that is Mic Fleetwood - he is like 6 feet 7 inches and his drumming is unique and very good.

Siblings? Even the worst brothers & sisters don't argue as much as married couple Christie/John McVie or lovers Lindsay Buckingham/Stevie Nicks did back in those days. PS RIP the beautiful and talented Christine.

One of their best songs without Stevie Nicks as the lead singer. Speaking of kickass women singers, you gotta react again to your girlfriend, Amy Lee. Evanescence - Everybody's Fool. You will be happy you did. Cool video video...powerful voice ...and we get to look at Amy. 😍

Are you talking about the couple on the cover doing their thing? If so that is Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham, and legendary rock star lovers. They are not together but they have one of the most passionate feelings for one a other, hot and cold. Their songs often reflect their reltionship and feelings

I hope you got hazard pay for this one. I know, I'm like the only dude on the planet that thinks she sounds like my rock tumbler full of gravel and broken glass. I'd ask my buddies back in the day, "you think this sounds good?" They always would say "she's got a nice rack!". But I can't hear that on the radio...Liked the band better BEFORE Stevie Nix.
