It's German & it's about Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. There is an English edit version but it doesn't flow as well imo. We had no idea what he was saying back in the day but it didn't matter, the song was a big hit.

As others have commented, this is about the classical composer Amadeus Mozart. I would suggest you look up and watch the 1984 movie, "Amadeus". He was a child prodigy and a "rockstar" in his day! The movie won I think, 8 academy awards that year. Worth a watch!
