I'm bout 11 months late over here, but just had to say......I've heard this song at least 100x. I know every bar, every insult, all the reasons behind each dis, all the jokes, all the lyrics, everything.....and I'm sitting over hearing it like so many times before, and I think it was watching these guys react to it for the 1st time, and over here shaking my head side to side, like "Are you fucking serious right now? I was a junior in high school when the Slim Shady LP dropped. I'd never heard anything like it before. Almost 25 years later and I still haven't. Em is one of a kind.

The trick is to bounce back n fourth between vowel sounds and consonants. If a word (or syllable) ends with a vowel sound the next word needs to start with a consonant and vice versa. It doesn’t come out as smooth if you double vowel sound or double consonant. There are some exceptions but that’s the general rule when it comes to chopping (rapping fast).

I'm sure just like everyone else in the industry has learned, there are artists you simply don't start things with because it will end in a kill spot for your career, and once you make it to that level, death isn't worse than being known by random people and being viewed as a loser.
