Even though this one isn't on the album; I read that the song Killshot is a reference to a movie with the same name where the main guy, named Colson (MGK's real name), dies. @@coccunation A lot of the deeper meanings can be open interpretation; this one about "The Ringer" is one that I thought of and am going with because it fits so well. The "Killshot" track is laced with so many deeper meanings that it is insane. Date it was uploaded was the day Patrick Swayze, who he references in the song, passed away, along with plenty of other hidden jabs. Eminem knows his shit.

28 flow switches, dozens of different rhyme schemes & deliveries, insanely creative wordplay & fire bars, and perfect storytelling. Not to mention that you can hear the passion & anger in his voice. I just don't understand how anyone can stuff SO much into less than 6 minutes. This song is truly a masterpiece. Best song of all time!!!!! Eminem + Slim Shady + Marshall Mathers = "The Ringer". Only song that I have heard all three go all out on one track. Em's technical talent, Shady's funny personality, and Marshall's insane writing

The album was trash. I've been listening to Eminem since I was in 7th grade. That album was just not up to par with what I would expect from eminem. Kamikaze actually feels like it's coming from eminem. Just my opinion but I couldn't listen to revival more than one time it's just so disappointing.

I've never seen u two so lost for words 😂 was brilliant. Was like shady possessed your souls for the whole song and took u both on a lyrical journey. I'm like that with practically every song of his. So many times I go back to old songs and then discover new metaphors and hidden messages

No disrespect to 2pac, one of my favorites. 2pac never had this flow , wordplay, delivery etc.Eminem can rap about anything and it sounds good.

I am a mother of three teenage boys, a nurse at a pediatric office, and a lover of BARS, and true lyricist! I started watching your channel because my sons and two of my patients told me to check you guys out. So glad I did! I didn’t go to dissect university, but you have helped me have an educated conversation with my kids and my patients about the music we love. My advice to other people with children, or anyone that works with children... listen to what they listen to, watch what they watch, and open yourself up for some great conversations. Side Note* Don't know you so shouldn't be surprised but reading you enjoy BARS (as a mother and nurse) caught me off guard lol. Main point... wise words listen, watch, and know what your kids are listening to. As a father of twin boys who are starting to enjoy Drake ( classmates introduced) I am a bit hypocritical as I grew up with 80's rap but don't want them being exposed to rap hiphop yet. Trying to guard them against it or deny them of exploring what they think they find entertaining will only draw them close to it. I will find some good hiphop to counter balance the trash rap of today. Kamikaze is fire so far though.

No 12 year old had/has any business listening to music about murdering your baby's mother, raping people, stealing pills from your mother etc. Kids need be old enough to distinguish between real life and music without being influenced by it. As a father of 2, it's scary as hell to see everything going on in the world. The wrong thing(s) are praised and the right thing(s) are condemned. Backwards ass world.

Young minds are molded by what they watch and listen to, whether it be music, movies or their parents fighting on the regular etc etc. The world we grew up in was worse than the world our parent's grew up in and the world our kids live in is waaay worse than the world that we grew up in.
