​@@mrj9585not all parents are like that though. My mom always chose her husbands or boyfriends over us kids. People have given Em a lot of criticism over the years about his mom but I get it. I had a shitty mom and no dad either.

This just shows how little people pay attention! lol.

For me, I connect with this song because I grew up in a home kinda like Em, didn't know who my dad is, my mom wasn't a good mom, and when you have kids of your own (at least for me) I wanted to be love and give my son all the things my mom didn't do for me and my siblings and sometimes life doesn't work out that way. Some things are out if your control and your kids end up going through stuff you never intended for them to go through. So I think that's why people connect so much with this song

I think Kim didn’t like the fame or him being gone all the time. The first house they bought they apparently had fans constantly ringing the doorbell & she received a lot of hate due to the songs about her.

The first house he bought....he didn't realize how famous he really got! It was in a middle class neighborhood.... Fans found him! They swamped the yard....they had to call the cops to get an escort out!

This song hits me a little different bc I’ve been through those stressful Christmas’s like that for my daughter

I think it's just two youngsters having kids & when one gets a break, especially in that world, to the other at home with the kids in the one bedroom, it looks like 24/7 party time. Jealousy kicked in thinking why am I still playing house while you're partying single? Then mommy developed a habbit...... Young, paranoid & jealous Just my two cents. I'm probably wrong, who knows?🙉
