It was Princess Diana’s favorite and Elton John wanted to perform it instead of Candle in the Wind. Others thought since the ladder song was recently out and popular to do it instead. So he changed the lyrics and sang that one. I don’t know if it’s true I just remember reading it somewhere. This is my all time favorite song by him

Elton has a countless amount of hits and was the best selling artist of the ‘70s and is one of the best selling artists of all time. He’s an international icon and is regarded as one of the best rock/pop pianists of all time and had a top 40 hit every year for over 30 consecutive years. He is 73 years old and will soon resume his farewell tour next year after COVID is settled down. The movie “Rocketman” is an Oscar and Golden Globe winning film and came out last year and is about Eltons life, I highly recommend it btw. Try reacting to the songs “Tiny Dancer” and “Rocket Man” just for starters. Great reaction video 👍

Didn't care much for the Rocketman movie except for the music. It was a fantasy and I wanted just his story without the fantasy elements. Yeah, yeah. I know he approved it and I saw it but it disappointed me that they buried reality with fantasy. The song they reacted to before was Rocket Man (not Piano Man -- that's Billy Joel). But I give a thumbs up for Tiny Dancer.

The other Elton John song you reacted to was "Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting" live from Central Park. This song, "Your Song" is so loved by us fans that in current times Elton begins the song, then stands at the edge of the stage, holds the mic out to the audience, and we sing it to him. If you want to see his life story, watch the movie "Rocket Man" I began going to Elton John Concerts here in NYC since the 1970's and I've got a ticket for his farewell tour, in 2021. My favorite of all his songs is Tiny Dancer. Any song you select to react to next is gold.
