This is the short version of the song - the album track is over 8 mins with another verse and more solos! Herman Li and Sam Totom are ace on KZread, loads of vids of them reacting, playing, watching others do their songs, and them attempt to write songs live in different styles (Blink 182 etc) The singer is now not with them, he sings for Skid Row!

The hardest pill to swallow is that in Guitar Hero you could pick this song.. and even if you'd pick it on Expert mode it would still be on Easy Dragon Force mode...

I look at the solos as a battle... They both (and us) know that they're the best ever, so they battled, and by doing so showed that they were both the best, made the most insane song, and no can beat them.

Her face just said "Oh, no! Won't be able to sleep? oH nOoO!"

You should hear the "uncut" version. The video version is shorter!

This is my motivational song, particularly for the gym. It is beautiful.

"This can't be the pace of the whole song..." If anything they get faster! DragonForce comes in hot and doesn't let up!

And now you understand why this song has been (and perhaps still is) one of the hardest songs to play on guitar and it took millions of people years to successfully achieve flawless or near flawless plays on it lol Dragonforce pretty much pioneered power metal and also proved that playing fast is not as easy as it sounds when you also do complicated rifts

and right when you think they are going to slow down, they start the guitar battle lol

Herman Li and Sam Totman are the two guitarists - they wrote the guitar arrangements (and played on the studio version) for BABYMETAL's song 'Road of Resistance' and said they wrote that to be faster and more technical than most of their own songs thinking they would never have to play it live. In 2015 DragonForce smuggled BABYMETAL into Download in the UK and invited them on stage to play 'Gimme Chocolate' and a few days later they played together at an awards show in London where they played 'Gimme Chocolate' and 'Road of Resistance'. There is a video on KZread of that performance.

As people probably has pointed out already Herman Li loves using octavers to manipulate his guitar tone to go way beyond what it naturally would be able to produce in terms of tone height. He's really good at using various effects to give a unique sound, same goes for Sam of course.

Funny you should mention BABYMETAL, as DragonForce actually collaborated with them and co-wrote (and performed on) a song of theirs called "Road of Resistance."

If you do operation ground n pound, dont dp the music video version do the Studio mp3 version (its longer but its has a great solo part which is not included in the music video)

Helloween is the best power metal band too

its power metal one of the best subgenres of metal music dragonforce is one of the best bands from this style also rhapsody the godfathers of this subgenre
