One of the hardest gangsta rap tracks ever dropped. I'm a white boy primarily into death metal, and this record is just as intense as any of the weird shit I listen to. All the west and east coast greats helped push the limits on art and music, its just sad that alot of them aren't alive today to see the impact they had on the future generations

What was cold about that "Fuck Charley Manson" line is he was talking about Reginald Denny, who got pulled out of his truck during the Rodney King riots, hit with a brick, and the ones who did it danced after.

Early Cube was a lyrical beast. He wrote all of Dre's raps in NWA. When Cube went solo his pen game went to a whole different level. As for the video, by the mid 90's the videos were a million plus easy. Check out just about anything Hype Williams made during that era

Straight up this track remains the stellar example of mean, dark, awake-those-demons-in-your-head raps of ALL time, at least in my book this song will never be beat for its lyrical savagery. Iim glaf Tyson found some calm happiness..His life after his dad died was sad & tragic & Don King swooped in like a vulture.. ~~Dr.Dre & SNoop Deepcover(cause itz 187 of undercover cop) was a song made for MC-REN! And NWA fans will remember how fire McRen was before he became 5%. MC Ren on Deepcover beat & angry aggro beat woulda been epic...In a alternate dimension where little things are off slightly like a left turn when you shoulda went right etc. That MC Ren Deepecover happened there.. & i wanna hear it! lol ~~Get Ice Cube The Predator & Lethal Injection.. TL;DR Helter Skelter I'm surprised no one has mentioned it, but this was originally going to be part of a Ice Cube/Dre album called Heltah Skeltah. The D.O.C was ghostwriting it. Maybe just Dre's parts idk. But he has been ghostwriting for Dre forever. Anyway, he was tired of not being paid enough, and Dre was holding him back from releasing his own stuff. He took his contributions for the album and bounced. He released Helter Skelter with a bunch of his people in Texas. One of my favorite albums of all time. It's very G-funk, but way darker like the production from this track. I would often have people ask me for music, as I have a huge collection and diverse taste. I would always include the album, and say nothing. Whether it was days, months, or longer, every single person always came back at me telling me how dope that album is and thanking me. Anyway. Check it out if you haven't heard it yet.
