Wow, I guess I forgot, just how CLEAN musically Diana's voice is, this used to be a fav go to song, thanks for the throwback and reminder of how powerful her music is!!
Diana Ross🥰 one of my all time favourite female singers. Love listening to any song she sings❤️❤️
The flip side of this 12" single was "I'm Coming Out". One of the greatest an complete dance singles of all time.

Mr. Niles Rodgers and the sound of Disco and the early 80's. He had his hand on many a song in that era and in some of todays music. Also big hats off to Ms. Ross for the vocals, Good memories from his time in my life so thanks guys for the post and reaction. As always stay safe and much love
A MUST HEAR Classic,, Diana Ross "Love Hangover"...Nuff Said.

Bernard Edwards, one of the greatest
Monster hit for Diana Ross. Must have been a glorious time for her in 1980 when the song rocketed to number one and stayed there for weeks.
I was hooked on her voice in 1963 with the supremes.love her to this day. Thanks for great reaction.
This song and the other huge hit from the same album, "I'm Coming Out" was produced by the genius of Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards, founders of CHIC. Nile Rodgers has produced so many classic songs and albums for other artists including Madonna, Duran Duran, David Bowie, Debbie Harry, Sister Sledge and many more.

@@duketomlinson3270 What you mean he lost it? He's still producing . He spends a lot of time touring with his own group CHIC. He doesn't work as often but he's also been through years of cancer and he's almost 70. He did pretty well for himself. He's a brilliant producer.

Sorry best * , not beat , damn auto spell
This song was written and produced by Nile Rogers & Bernard Edwards of Chic. They were a hugely successful production team in the late 70’s/early 80’s being for going on to continued success individually. This was Diana Ross’ biggest hit in years along with I’m Coming Out the other single from the album.
Wow! I haven't heard this song in a long time! Love it!
I bought this album the week it came out. Diana Ross was everything. This album also includes "I'm Coming Out". This album has so many fun tracks on it.
Diana is 🔥 this is one of my favorite songs. She has many great songs. Used to watch my older sister and her friends dance to this. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Love it😊✌️
This was in all the discos when it came out. Love Diana Ross! The LEGEND Hit after hit after hit
This will always be my favorite Diana Ross song. I played this over and over and over again.
I have always loved Diana Ross and really ❤️ TOUCH ME IN THE MORNING it is a beautiful song
Ohhhh Ms. Ross. Lord I torn the floor up when this song came on back in the day. I especially love the end of this song.

May this whole album was fire 🔥 The original diva!
As a former drummer, let me just say that snare drum tone is totally insane. Never got close to that in 20 years of playing.

Saddest words ever, "former drummer." I'm seventy-five, been playing since I was three. Please, pick em up and "paradiddle diddle" once more. At least get your singles and doubles up and running again.

Miss Diana Ross ❤❤❤. I miss music like this. A little funk, a little disco, a little soul.
Ms. Diana Ross, nothing else needs to be said ❤️
Diana was a superstar back in the Sixties, into the Seventies. "Upside Down" is part of her return to the spotlight in the Eighties. My favorites from her are "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" and "Theme From Mahogany."
Great song ,always loved this and Diana does a beautiful vocal!
This song was written by Niles Rodgers and Bernie Edwards of Chic. As well as produced by Rodgers. The record company hated it because they thought it was too rock n roll for Diana Ross. It turned out to be the right song for Diana gaining more fans and album sales

Yep it wasnt a route DR wanted to go down but she put her faith in Rodgers and Edwards. Sent her up another gear after that.
When I was little I always made my dad play this for me when he was listening to music. One of the few albums he had that I liked, and this was the track I liked most. Also frequently requested I’m Coming Out too though.
Whoever was playing on that back violin toward s the end of the song was kicking ass!
Her huge list of hits with the Supremes like “You Can’t Hurry Love” “ Love Child” “ I’m Gonna Make You Love Me” “Stop in the Name of Love” and so many more
My very first fav song ever back in 1978...remember sitting in living room with my tape recorder singing into it when came on radio...absolutely love Diana Ross.
love DIana Ross, if you watch the "We are the World" rehearsals she was the only one that hit the notes every time. Beautiful voice.
"I'M COMING OUT" Is awesome..! ( Puffy and Mase sampled it)
I LOVE this song! Try "Love Hangover" next!!
This song came out when I was in the 6th grade and I loved it. I also loved it when they used it for MC Lyte's Cold Rock A Party featuring Missy Elliott. It was, is, and always will be a jam! 💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃

I was either in 8th grade or a freshman, depending on what month the song was released. I remember taping it from the radio and I loved it when MC Lyte sampled it, too! Lyte's rugged voice, meshed with Diana's soft coos, was perfect harmony. It's still a banger!
Really like this beat, melody,a true classic here, high quality for sure, song by Diana Ross..nice to see you 2 doing this reaction...her very best song..
Ooooh this song was slick. The funk of that bass and guitar work was because this song was written, played, AND produced by Chic's Nile Rogers and Bernard Edwards. You can def hear that "LeFreak" vibe.
We had the best music in the 80's!
This was written and produced by Chic members Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards! 😎 You need to check out "Chic", if you haven't done so already. Wicked Basslines every time!
Yes this song was at the rink back in the day Asia. Super fun song to skate to - Very popular at the rink, had us all rexxing!!
This Great Track Comes With A Surprise Ending,, Oran "Juice" Jones "The Rain" (Official Music Video A MUST!!)
That funk guitar from beginning to end, so happy that you let the guitar shine at the end.
beautiful song and really compliments her vocal so clear and clean and yet seductive!
In the late 70's and early 80's Diana Ross was always present at our garage parties!
Great Reaction, Asia & BJ. Miss Ross THE BOSS teamed up with Bernard Edwards and Nile Rodgers from their band Chic (Sheek) on this fabulous album. Listen to their band on classics like 'Good Times' and 'Le Freak' to hear those iconic basslines.
Woah this brings back my disco days! 🕺
Her 1985 album "Eaten alive" was produced by Barry Gibb

That's another great album by her. I love "Chain Reaction" on that album.
I remember having house parties and dancing to this song with my Aunt Betty. Great memories.
I remember my cousin Gracie played this song over and over when this came out for days that I went upside down.
I love some Diana Ross! Never b another. ❤🎶
Yes! Ms. Diana "The Boss" Ross is in the house. As others have mentioned, this was a "comeback" during the disco era, and this song along with "I'm Comin' Out" and "Love Hang-Over", was in heavy rotation. I was fortunate enough to see her live in 1979. She did not disappoint. It was a phenomenal show. I love "Touch Me In the Morning" and "Do You Know Where You're Goin' To (Theme from Mahogany), a movie she starred in. Before that, she played legendary jazz singer Billie Holliday in "Lady Sings the Blues", a good movie you might want to enjoy.
I grew up on groups like the supremes. My mother was a huge fan of Motown. Same goes for my wife. Her and my mum have seen Diana Ross many times over the year's, but sadly I have not. But yeah, I remember singing along to upside down with my mum as a kid in the 80s. Reflections is my all time favourite of Diana Ross and the supremes. Love the base in that song, super funky.
Reminds me of the Soul Train/American Bandstand days...REAL music! Love it!
Oooh! Such a bop!!! If this don’t get ya moving…. Shew! Something ain’t right right with ya 😁❤️🔥🔥
Echoing everyone else: Love Hangover is a must.
OMG! Have not heard this tune in awhile! Thanks!!
One of the first 45s I ever bought. Great roller skating music!
You should also check out the band Chic w/Niles Rogers (the song writer of Upside Down) performing this song. Make sure you find the one with Jessie Wagner as one of the singers...😊😊
One of my favorite childhood singers she was known as the BOSS Ms Ross
Any time you get Nile Rodgers to produce and play, you've got a hit

Keep dancing, keep smiling, and don’t change Asia. You’re someone special - definitely not a regular schmegular.
That song is hypnotic
Yall did it!! lol a fav from Diana Ross also like Salt & Pepa's version of Upside Down & MC Lytes Cold Rock A Party which also sampled this
Good song choice, you two!! Diana's daughter is bow in blackish, and Joan in girlfriends
My favorite Diana Ross song
I am a heavey metal freAK FROM Detroit...learned a lot from playing bass in Mowtown
You need to see her in the movie, “The Wiz”. It’s a musical also starring Michael Jackson.

She proved her acting chops in the movie Mahogany, starring Billy D. Williams as her love interest! I believe she was nominated for an Oscar or the Billy Holiday movie, either way, she's a talented actor, I wish she'd done more. I'm glad her daughter Traci, has taken the baton as she's an incredible actor in her own right!
I have loved her since the 60's
Love when BJ has to back out and back down after an Asia eye roll 😆😆😆
Diana is always teasing! Thx!
I remember this being played at the roller rink!
Love Hangover - album long version.
Nile Rodgers ( Chic, Daft punk) on guitar and producer.😉
Nile Rodgers was an incredible producer
Shout out to Nile Rodgers of the band Chic jammin 'on the bass guitar.
Love Diana Ross.
Love her so much
Wow long time this was in her disco days all artist from 70's have at least one she has a few my favorite was Love Hangover
Absolutely rocked Glastonbury this year!
This song was a staple at roller skating rinks...
Memories of roller skating to this in my basement as a kid. I'm old, lol.
From Datwa(Detroit) Miss Ross...lest listen
That great CHIC sound. You guys need t listen to some Chic, Sister Sledge and other CHIC productions too. Also David Bowie's 'Let's Dance', Madonna's 'Like A Version', Power Station's 'Some Like It Hot' and Daft Punk's 'Get Lucky' could also be counted as CHIC productions.
Diana and JayKay from Jamiroquai did a fantastic duet with this song.
I love y’all reaction! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I had a horrible job at a bank a few years ago and I had to listen to this song on my drive in.
Omg you both are so beautiful! 😍😍 love your reactions.🙏🏾💕
Man what an epic song what an epic era when people still go to club's to dance and not to upload insta stories.. Dont bm the original version there are some solid remixes out there even for now..
You Were The One from is a great one y’all should react to. That’s one from the mid seventies. It’s soooo good
From the same album "I'm Coming Out" is really good if you haven't done it yet
Yeah...this was from the days of Studio 54.
Regardless of the subject in the song that right there is the jam.
Cool video as always. Y'all are a go to channel, and Asia's singing voice is greatness. If you get around to it, you should check out "Don't Disturb this Groove" by The System. Best of luck sitting still to this one. Gets me moving every time.
Diana Ross-Love Hangover 🔥
Y'all need to watch her acting in Mahagony. Great movie Richard Pryor is also in it.
Nile Rodgers did it again. He’s a great producer.
Great number one from 1980.You should do her big hit from 1985 Chain Reaction written for her by the BeeGees.
Yeah, this fan-made lyrics video uploaded in 480p 13 years ago sounds a little lofi today.
