I agree that "Rechenka" is a masterpiece at 14 yrs. old. It's in Russian but you can get captions. Captions aren't really necessary because it is an amazing stage performance as well as vocals in any language.

Do 'Rechenka' next...it is a song about an orphan girl (Diana?), without father or mother, who goes to the sacred river to find them, speak to them, and seek their approval for her marriage. Mystical, magical and glorious...at the age of 14 only, she sang a masterpiece. It is like nothing you have ever heard before!

My Love will blow your mind as it is a pretty raw performance she just did recently.

"Rechenka" is a masterpiece of a live performance and her interpretation of a Russian folk tune is awesome, especially for a 14 year old (at the time) in a big competition. You might also want to check out one of her first commercial songs, non-competition and regular length. It is quite beautiful, sung in Russian but kind of Celtic sounding. @@GOTGames Check her full album "D.A." ( hopefully it's still on iTunes) It's a bit short, just 31minutes, but quite beautiful. A nice mix of folksy stuff, Ibiza-lounge like stuff and some deep house vocal thrown-in for good measure. Less voice gymnastics, but so much more control. she's getting scary good. 'Into the Sky' is, sadly, not on it. The album is produced by the same guy that did "Into the Sky" and "Side by side", Brandon Stone. He also arranged and mixed Diana's New Years' gift to her fans: A Swing-cover of "what a beautiful World" Where she proved that she can also do jazz- and scat.. Pretty amazing. Interesting detail: Diana decided to try and crowd-fund her first careful foray into making whole albums with her own music ( she's quite the resourceful young lady, apparently) and to her utter surprise, within weeks, the goal was reached.. times 2 !! It was a Russian crowd-funding site, but fans allover the world found-out and donated. She never imagined she had so many fans outside of Russia. Bless her humble soul.. She could finally pay for studio-time and hire a producer and musicians. A dream she had for a long, long time, but never the money. Gigging doesn't pay all that well and studio-time is bloody expensive, to say the least. D.A. ( as in the Russian "Yes" : Да. AND her initials ) is the result. Shame that the current situation kinda buggered her plans to cautiously expand her career abroad. She even started learning English beyond "School-Grade" (as she calls it herself). Well.. Shit.. She has travelled throughout Europe. France, The Netherlands (for a concert of her favourite band "Twenty Pilots"). And that gave her a taste for a world outside Russia. "Best" is difficult to define and largely subjective when it comes to art and artists. Most people can recognize talent, although recognizing great talent is more difficult. To me, Diana is definitely S Tier. I would also put Floor, Angelina, SoYhang, Morrissette, Aurora in S Tier. However, Diana's (and Angelina's) body is still growing and won't be fully developed for another 5-10 years. To me, Diana's skill and power and passion and intensity and theatricality and vocal tone are unsurpassed. Right now. Today. And the next 5-10 years? I can't wait!

Rechencka it will have full translations but its an auditory experience..from earlier than this. Or her Doing a big stage version of Blizzard... 🎆 The musical arrangements were all done by the same guy who worked on this show assisting the other artists. He also helped on her latest series winners. 🇬🇧🧙‍♂️

Well, she does sound a bit like Cher sometimes…contraltos do tend to sound similar..to me anyway.. but she does have her own sound and techniques that are totally unique to her… she was a yodeler in her younger years.. that’s why she can work those vocal flips into her style..

You are doing well with the pronunciation of her name (DEE-ana an-ku-DEEN-eva), congratulations. You get chills, I get chills, so many people get chills she is known as the "Queen of Goosebumps". Next song? Rechenka (River) is astounding but at 14 (she's almost 19 now) her voice was still immature. (There are translated versions out there and a translation is essential and greater understanding comes when you relate it to her background. Her website has a somewhat "light" version of her early life. More complete versions are around and "dark" is an understatement.) IMO her current best song is "Crow"-again get a translated version. I also love "Happiness", it is so poignant and she sings the pain brilliantly. Get the translated version. Good luck, her performances are highly addictive.
