This is a smooth groove from back in the day. You can feel in your soul. I listen to it every night at work as it is on my playlist a work. 1978 soul/R&B was so different. You could listen to it with your lady.

Funny you mentioned sampling bc this tune has actually been sampled a few times…most notably in the late 80’s by 3 Times Dope on a track called Funky Dividends…a rap record about a guy who is in a relationship with a girl who only wants him for the money💰…some things HAVEN’T changed all that much 😜
