you might have heard You were beautiful (the song you said that sounded familiar) from a bunch of other artists who sang that song too. I'm not kidding but at least 80% of the artists in the kpop industry have sung that song at least once lol. It's Day6's most well known song in Korea, everyone in Korea knows that song.

Day 6 is just so freaking talented! These days, they've been gaining a lot of recognition. You should check out their music video. It's amazing and famous actor stars in it.

You should listen Rescue Me from their The book of us: Entropy ALBUM!!! one of their most heavy rock songs! That being said, Day6 have always said that they like to experiment, what most of fans love about day6 is how they always play with genres so it is normal that some songs don't resonate with everybody. The whole ENTROPY album for example has such a variety of touches from different genres. But what is cool is that doing so they have created their own color....And Day6 just sounds... like Day6.

This! I would LOVE to see y'all listen to Rescue Me! My metalhead friends have said they would listen to it.

The title tracks of DAY6 songs are filtered through company procedures which make the songs more mainstream (basically the songs in this video) while they have more creative freedom with the side tracks. So try checking them out as well.

Day6 is the band that doesn't have a bad song. Every release, every song, every album is amazing.

Omg thank you for giving me a day6 react I haven’t hade one in a while and it gives me life. A member left around 3 years ago and this is the first year their playing together again after serving in the military-I only bring that up because some of the instrument parts definitely changed and the missing guitar is definitely something to get used to through my long time fan ears too lol. Please check out their studio recordings - thank you for this!!!!!!

I think you would also need to hear the full songs to understand them better. Also with that song you said “was weird to choose that part for this performance” is one that they would usually let the audience join in. So it was planned more like a mini concert

Please keep reacting to their music. Their B-Sides and Japanese songs are as good or even better.

Thank you for reacting to Day6. They truly have an amazing discography that I think you cant miss out on. Pretty much the entirely of The Book Of Us: The Demon is a masterpiece. Zombie, which you mentioned at 14:25 as the most chilling, kinda became the COVID anthem. There is an English version of this song, but I cannot listen to it that often because it makes me cry every damn time if I actually pay attention to the lyrics I feel like mydays tend to not be as vocal as other kpop fandoms about our love for the band because we are always so focused on the music. Like seriously, we accidently charted the entirety of the new album without any push or coordination, and suddenly 4-year-old Day6 songs are re-entering the Melon charts because we all selectively started re-listening to our favorite pre-enlistment songs. We can only hope after their hiatus has now ended that you and many others continue to get introduced to them and support their music. So thank you

DAY6 have fantastic albums. My favourite era will always be their Every DAY6 project with Sunrise and Moonrise. For a year every 6th day of the month they would release 2 songs, one with a music video and at the end of 6 months those songs would be put into a full album. Though every album is great, they don't make bad songs :P

You should also check out thier junior band Xdinary Heroes. They have a killing voice but just with their two main vocalist and no instruments.

You talked about having a transition to that kpop headspace - The band that lead my way into listening to Korean music is Thornapple and I think you guys might really like their stuff. @@BestFriendsReact lol for me personally K-pop has helped me (a young man) feel more confident and comfortable with my makeup hobby so maybe that’s why I feel so strongly about it :) it’s definitely helped me a lot in life seeing these stars that feel so above me doing things I’d typically get bullied for

That's fair, I normally don't have any issue with anyone wearing or doing make up. I just felt this particular time it stood out as too much for me. Regardless, I'm happy to hear that it's helped you. I love when ppl have hobbies and I want them to be happy with themselves if it makes them happy
