It's super-funky, the lyrics are so arranged in a punchy and syncopated style that it's hard not to hear it as a rap. Good to see you enjoying yourself there. Great work again.

“Stay” is probably the best song from this Album. React to that one I think you’ll dig it.

He changed his style of music and his look more than anyone I can remember. The stuff from the late 70s through the 80s tends to be his funkiest stuff. Definitely one of my favourite artists.

David Bowie - the ultimate chameleon. Whenever he wanted a change, he just morphed hie persona and pulled in some different influences to his music. Pop singer, Rock singer, Glam singer, R&B singer, Alt Rock singer. Really nothing he couldn't do. You would really enjoy his entire 'Young Americans' album.

He wrote this bad boy with Elvis Presley in mind and had his people try to pitch it to him to record. Elvis declined, but sent him a note saying "Good luck on your tour". David kept it until his death in 2016. The song was a cautionary tale to his wife Angie to stay away from all of the creeps trying to take advantage of their celebrity. His manager Tony DeFries had just been fired for ripping him off of tour royalties and bankrupting him. David was so high on cocaine while recording this album that later he didn't remember making it. He was keeping his pee in a jar in his refrigerator so Jimmy Page from Led Zeppelin wouldn't use it to put a hex on him. He was super into occultism and heavily paranoid. It was the darkest time in his life, so he moved to Berlin with Iggy Pop from The Stooges to get sober, then kept making music for 40 years as a grounded person. That picture on the Station to Station cover is a still from the film The Man Who Fell to Earth, where David was the star. It's a science-fiction film. His persona on this album was The Thin White Duke, a character with money and supremacy, and a true evil in terms of fake romantics. David created characters to avoid writing songs from his own perspective, and they gave him a lot of room to work out awesome stage presentations. You'll probably love Bowie himself, but his characters and their inflections are pretty cool. He was definitely one of the great vocalists. Not the most technically brilliant in a lot of cases, but in some cases, very technically brilliant. He was versatile and did so many things with his voice that a lot of great singers would never have tried. A lot of people in rock nowadays sing the way they do because of things he was doing in the '70s and '80s. His tone is great, and you'll hear a lot of different tones as you hear more Bowie outside of this 1975-1976 era. His variety will always keep you on your toes. This is one of the singles I don't get tired of hearing, so I'm glad to see it on your channel. Keep up the great work! ❤

Part of Bowies genius was getting the right artists for each genre. It was a brave move going to the states and putting himself in the mix with brass construction, fat back band, the blackbirds etc.. Yet he pulled it off superbly.

This cut is cool....His biggest hit was Let’s Dance which was a smash #1 hit in 1983 with HEAVY R&B influence. You should definitely do a reaction to Let’s Dance!

This song was the beginning of his "Plastic Soul" sound. Total innovator. Had to metaphorically kill off the "Spiders" to get to that place.

@@JustJammin Well, if you just type in their name: Loose Ends and their hit single “Hanging on a string” let us know what you think! They were a British R&B group who were popular in the mid 80s. Oh I definitely like their version of David Bowie’s “Golden Years”. Have a blessed day

@@JustJammin Oh my bad! However, I’m not done with you yet lol! How about Some reggae? Well, if you’re into it. I have the following recommendation: an artist called Mortimer and his first single is called “Lighting” check out the video on this same website. So much good music past and present from various genres which shouldn’t stay hidden. Have a blessed day.
