So I was told that the ARTIST was Jee Veerey, but that is actually the name of the song and the translation is: Live, Brave One. Sorry for the error! 💖Keep the mental health conversation going by sharing your story here in the comments. No matter where you are in your journey, you have a safe place here to share your struggles and accomplishments without judgment. Well.. where do I start!! One year ago on the 12th March 2020, my wife and I lost our daughter in-utero a few days before she was due to be born.. one week later, our country (India) went into Covid19 lockdown for 2 months and I as a singer was now also out of work.. this song has single handedly brought me out of that deep deep space that I was getting into. I've listened to this song every and I mean every single day since I first heard it last April and it has helped me come out into a much better mental state. Music has the ability to break you and heal you.. and this song definitely healed me.. welcome to the bloodywood family. Cheers..

Two years ago, the chorus literally saved my life. And they are right: You can get back up, if you're still alive. "When you can't run, you walk. When you can't walk, you crawl. When you can't crawl...when you can't do that...you find someone to carry to you." Firefly ep. 11, "The Message" Lastly, remember: You never fight alone. You never were alone, and never have been. Keep your head up, and stay in the fight. All you have to do is find your reason for fighting, and to fight with everything you have. Everything you are. And when you feel like you're drowning in the darkened, blackened rising, hold on to your humanity, and fight. Love you all, no matter who you are, no matter where you are. Stay safe, and be well. Peace be to you.

@@MentalAmanda : That's a good thing -- but here's something else to consider. In the US Marine Corp, they have a saying: Adapt and overcome. Dont do the same thing over and over, else you go a bit crazy. Change up how you fight, and when you inevitably win, you'll feel that much better, trust me. Sometimes that means finding more reasons to fight, than just the obvious ones. And yeah, it sucks when the one person you fight is the other part of yourself -- because that part of your mind knows everything about you. But face your problems one at a time, knock them out and defeat them, and go on to the next one. You just have to be willing to take the shots, and get it done.

I first heard this song a few months after it was released, when it was recommended to me by youtube. I can't believe it's been so long already. I've had depression and suicidal ideation ever since I can remember and this song was the first one to ever strike a chord with me. I love all the lyrics, but the one line that stood out the most to me was "we can get back up if we're still alive." Such a simple and obvious statement, but it had honestly never occured to me before. I happened to be going through a rough mental patch at the time and this song helped me get through it. I even got a tattoo inspired by it as a personal reminder to myself to live. Listening to it now still makes me feel emotional every time.

One question though did you go and finish watching till the end, The special announcement that they made at the end... Right where you stopped, he goes to discuss mental health and how they had worked out a deal with an online therapist group that was totally anonymous and free for anyone who needed somebody to talk to. They're giving so much more than just a beautiful song, they were also offering true hope for those that might feel lost.
