Pleaaaaaaase take a listen to Steelhearts " Shes gone ". I would listen to the official video and then the unplugged version to showcase his incredible voice in the days before autotune. Absolutey the most underrated voice of the 80s and 90s. You will NOT be dissappointed!

Country music doesn't try to be high art. It usually entertains by telling a good story... like this one. Another fine country singer from Oklahoma. Don't let my handle fool you. I have spent most of my adult life in Oklahoma and currently live where Garth Brooks went to college. Go Pokes! I like Blake Shelton's song "Boys 'Round Here" with the Pistol Annies. You might get a kick out of it as it adds a modern twist to country music.
